Granny's P.O.V

"Thank you for staying so late." Richard said while entering the room.

"Did you get the Gilbert watch?" Elizabeth asked him. I was sitting next to Carol who was the one to answer her question.

"She claims it's packed away in her parent's things."

"I can get it." Logan stated sitting on an armchair.

"Good, we are going to need it!" Elizabeth said again using a professional tone in her voice.

"Are you sure?" Richard questioned again.

"Five bodies all drained from blood. I'm certain."

"I will agree with Elizabeth. Since those deaths, there is something strange in Mystic Falls. I can't be more precise, but it is like something is wrong. Every cell of my body can sense that." I said looking at the others seriously.

"They've come back!" Logan stated.

"Did you see something particularly?" Carol asked me.

"No. You know that our gift gets weaker and weaker as we become older. The only one I worry about is my granddaughter."

"What's up with Cassandra?" Carol asked worryingly.

"I hear her sometimes scream in her sleep and she hasn't had a good night sleep for months."

"She didn't tell you anything?"

"No. Only after the death of William Tanner, she said she wanted to talk with me. I don't think it's a coincidence, she freaked out so much, considering she hated Tanner."

"Do you think she possesses the gift too?" Richard said catching my attention.

"I'm certain she possesses the gift as much as those deaths were caused from vampires." I replied in a steady tone.
