This was something I'd began to pick up on and it was further brought to my attention by @DarkAngelTiger.
In all honesty this is one of the most annoying things that have happened on Wattpad lately, and so tell me if this sounds familiar:
"Nice story! Want to get more readers? Then visit our website..."
It has made me want to break the table so many times because what, the fuck.
Like my word there was a bunch of shit I ran away from Facebook and Twitter for and came on to Wattpad in order to avoid, and one of those things were these stupid spam messages or comments or whatever
(Omg on Facebook have you guys gotten that spam about losing like 300 pounds or some bulkshit like that oh lawwwwwd spam is so annoying like you can wake up with 17 new notifications and you're like YAY my new photo has received recognition but then noooooo it's ten of your friends telling you how to lose 300 pounds fucking mako shark)
...but now they're on Wattpad too
And there's no place to hide
Honestly. Where the fuck did it come from?
Just like the fb one, it's so fucking annoying when you see the little orange notification and you're like OMG YAY, ONE NEW COMMENT!!!!! And then when you check it out it fucking turns out to be that pile of horseshit right there
They go on to give you a link (have any of you clicked on it? I haven't, so do tell where it leads to?)
...which I'm damn sure it's just a pathway to more internet bullshit
This has happened not only on my comments but also in my inbox which hurts my feelings COZ I JUST WANT NORMAL MESSAGES FROM MY READERS IS THAT SO HARD TO ASK
Like HOLY SHIT I don't need this kind of shit in my life rn Wattpad can you sort yourself
