There is a certain type of readers/commenters who I absolutely cannot stand
These are the ones who have read the book multiple times and decide that everyone needs to know that they have
They sit their with their smug little faces like #rr (this means hashtag reread)
Acting like they're better than all of us who are first time readers
Thing is, I'm not talking about the ones who just say #rr. I'm talking about the ones who decide that because they're read the book and know everything, they're better off than everyone else, and so they just spoil the bloody book for you
For instance, the book could say:
I felt like there was something strange about Quentin's father. Or was it just my imagination?
And you click on the comments and what do you see?
Smug_AF It's not your imagination ahahah #rr
BetterCozIReadTwice YOU DON EVEN KNOW WHAZZ COMING LOLZ #rr
_TryingTooHardToMakeUsernameFunny_ Hehehe I know what happens #rr
And in my head I'm just like GET OVER YOURSELVES
NO ONE CARES THAT YOU HAVE READ IT FIFTY SEVEN FUCKING TIMES
SO STOP FUCKING SPOILING THE FUN FOR EVERYONE FUCKING ELSE
It's like watching a movie with someone who's watched it before and they keep saying
"Oooohhh this part is funny" and so you feel pressurized to laugh but you aren't even sure which moment
Or when they're like
"Oh shit, I hate this part omg" and then you're struggling in your seat like omg why do you hate it omg does a zombie appear out of nowhere omg or does she die DOES PETUNIA FUCKING DIE I NEED TO KNOW
JUST TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS BECAUSE YOU'VE ALREADY GIVEN ME ANGINA OVER IT ARGHH
