And she found that apparently there's this thing where people have books that rate other people's accounts.
Account rating?
I was sort of confused at first. And then I found more of them, and then I realized that this is what is wrong with Wattpad, that people have books where they rate other people's accounts, and it's what is wrong with the world, that people like Donald Trump actually have supporters.
Of course it's not like they pick random people to rate; what happens is that you volunteer to be rated then the author scores you in categories such as your username, profile picture, bio, book covers, book descriptions et cetera.
I think that such things are complete bullshit.

First of all, who the fuck ordained you to be the expert on what a "good" or "bad" profile picture is? Or even what a "good bio" should have? Honestly?
Perhaps for things like book covers and stuff, I will allow for them to be rated because it's fair enough.
But I certainly have an issue with people openly volunteering for other people to give them validation for their own profiles.
You see, your profile is your profile. You chose your display picture because it reflects a little piece of you. You chose to write what you wrote on your bio because it reflects a little piece of you. You chose to make your username what it is because you're a genie and you grant wishes okay SO LIKE:

I'm sorry if I'm being a little harsh, but in all honesty this is no better than going on someone's new profile picture on Facebook and saying "meh, it could be more interesting" or on someone's Instagram and saying "you should try be more funnier on your bio because I got bored"
It's okay if your bio isn't funny or witty or cool or whatever. It's you. And that's the best thing, for real. Look, if you wanna write 5000000 words in your bio go ahead. If you wanna write a sentence then go ahead.
Why should someone determine whether it's passable or deplorable?
And thing is some of these authors seem to take pride in the fact that they're "extremely brutally honest" and so they're all badass giving people 5s coz QuentinWendy7891's profile picture doesn't live up to their stupid little standards
But the funny thing is that when you check out the profile of these writers, even you aren't that impressed ahaha, so just shut your goddamn mouth and try get all elements of your book to 100% before you start telling people what they should do to theirs.
I'm sorry if any of you happen to have these books or have happened to ask for a rating. As always, this is my opinion, there is no need to take it to heart. Maybe you may have even meant to do it for fun. But like I said, I'm a bitter arse motherfucker kay
I just personally think that sometimes things like this aren't okay. Whether or not it's a joke, I think that the message it sends is a bit iffy.
Of course, some account raters are super sweet and everything and end up giving everyone 100% in every category and such, but I suppose that it's the principle of the matter:
I don't think anyone should need to seek authentication (Hehehehe thesaurus is your best friend)
... from anyone else when it comes to things personal to you and I don't think that people should feel the need to give it in the first place.
You just do you!
