Chapter 24

Ashley pov
(continuing from last chapter)
Cam asked me to be his gf, well his secret gf. Of course I said yes. Who wouldn't. We were making out in the corridor until we heard someone say, "Wtf?!". We pulled away. Who we saw standing there, was Luke. I felt bad but I didn't really care. Luke is just a fucking hot ass guy with tattoos and peircings and colored hair. But Cameron is cute and nice and sweet. "L-Luke?! H-how long were you standing there?" I asked. "JUST long enough to see you guys kissing. Ashley how could you do this to me? You said you were gonna get back with me!" Luke said sounding and looking really hurt. "Okay 1 I didn't say shit. 2 I said I was gonna think bout it. Obviously I don't wanna get back with you again. Or at least for a while." I said. "Whatever wait until ur little girfriend finds out that you like her!" he said. At this point I was furious.  I walked up to him smiling, "Luke....." then I slapped him pretty hard that he fell down. I kneeled down in front of him. "You will stop being a total asshole towards me and things like this won't happen. Alright?" I smiled. He shook his head in fear. "Alright. C'mon cam." I said getting up and grabbing my bag and drink. "Wtf just happened?!" cam asked. "I just saved your life. If I didn't slap him that hard he would have beat you up." I said. "That was pretty damn cool tho. Guess I don't need a bodyguard afteralll." he said. We busted up laughing. "Yah really. But don't tell anyone okay? Especially Taylor."  I said stopping in front the door to the room the others were in. "I won't I promise." he said. "Thx fam." I said smiling. He pecked my lips real quick then we walked in the room. Once we walked in, we were greeted by hugs. After that, we all sat down  and chilled out. Cam and I sat down in a bean bag. We just cuddled. Everyone knew we were bffs so it was fine. "Hey Tay, how long u gonna be here?" I asked Taylor. "A couple weeks. Well have plenty of brother sister time." he said. "Wtf?! Brother sister? What?" jaz asked. She didn't know I even knew Tay or cam. "Taylor is my step brother. Cameron is one of my childhood bffs.  And I barely know Aaron." I said. "Omfg. Do you know Shawn Mendes?!" mia asked. "She barely does, but he does want to hang out with us again but he's busy touring n stuff." Taylor answered. "That is so cool!!" both mia and jaz said in unison. "Yah. Its be nice to see him again." I said. "Yah." Tay said. We chilled out for a lil longer until we were told to go backstage. We were all waiting backstage now. Cam came over to me before we went on. "Hey cutie." cam said wrapping his arms around me. We both chuckled. "Hey" I said smiling. "You excited?" he asked. "Yes but also nervous." I replied. "You'll be fine babe." he said kissing my cheek. "I know." I breathed out. 6 acts later, it was our turn. "Up next, Heart Of An Emo. Members are, Mia Lockheart, Jazlyn Smith, Alex Caniff, and Ashley Mavis." the anouncer dude said. People wished us good luck and we walked up on stage. We got on stage and I was so nervous. I was nervous because I had to sing In front of the entire campus plus their families. Since each music related performance had to perform 2 songs, we decided to  cover I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! At The Disco and Love Me Like You by Little Mix.

We walked backstage and Cameron and Taylor came over to congratulate us. By the way, we got a standing ovation on both performances. While everyone was waiting for our scores and stuff, Magcon had to go out and entertain the crowd for a bit. Alex and I were watching from the side stage entrance. To be honest, they didn't do very well. They barely practiced anything. I know what your thinking right now, I'm being a bad girlfriend and pretty much trash talking my boyfriend's groups performance. But seriously, have you met me?! I speak my mind. Haha never mind with that. After a little while, Taylor started talking. "Okay so all the performances you guys saw before us, will be juged now I guess." he said. One of the judges handed him a sheet of paper with the scores. "Okay, cann all of the performers come out please? We are gonna do this in a xfactor style." he said. We all walked out and stood in groups. The Magcon boys got to choose the group they wanted to stand with. Cameron literally ran across the stage just to stand by me. He sqeezed in between me and Alex and wrapped his arms around us. Taylor was saying what place everyone was at and got trophies. 5sos got 2nd place while we got 1st. We were so happy. So after everything happened, We all met in the parking lot and Jake ran up to me and hugged me. "That was so good!" he said. "Thanks bubba." I said back. Mom And dad came up to us and joined us. "Hi sweetie you girls were amazing up there!" mom said. I thanked her then Alex came up to me. "Hey, can I steal you for a second?" she asked. "Yah sure. I'll be right back." I said. Alex grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the building. "Alex, where are you taking me?" I asked. "Hang on" she said. She pulled me around the corner and into a little hidey spot behind a wall. "Alex why did you bring me bac-" I started to say til she cut me off. "Taylor asked me out." she said. "Ok. That's why you dragged me back here almost killing me to tell me?!" "yah kinda." she said. "Your crazy!" I said. "No ash! Look, I really like Taylor but I also like Calum and kinda Jake a bit still but idk what to do!" she said. "Ik what your going thru cuz I'm currently going through the same thing." I said. "Huh?" "I like Luke Cameron and Dylan. I already turned Luke down a couple times now, I haven't seen Dylan for a little bit and we'll, I wasn't supposed to tell anyone this but cam and I are secretly dating." I said. "Aww really?" "yah" I said. "Aww I'm happy for you! I knew he would ask you out some day."she said. "Yah." "well I guess Dylan isn't going to be happy bout this." she said. Then we heard someone else's voice say, "or me." We look over. Luke is standing right there. "Luke how long were you standing there?" I asked. "Long enough.  Ashley,how could you? You said we were gonna get back together soon?" he said. "No I didn't. I'm sorry Luke bit I just needed to move on and find someone else. I didn't want to be hurt again." I said on the edge of tears. "I didn't hurt you ash. I loved you with all my heart. I took good care of you. I just want to hold you in my arms again and call you mind but I can't cuz you belong to someone else now." he said crying. "I'm sorry Luke. You dumped me for that slut and Cameron was there for me. Not you. I'm done talking to you rn." I said. I had a pounding head ache. Alex lead me out of there and we headed to the car. "Ashley" we stop and look back and here comes Cameron with a big smile on his face. "Hey cam." I said when he got to us. "Hey baby" he said putting his hands on my sides  and pulling me closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck smiling. "Hey" we kissed. "You guys are cute" Alex said. "Thanks" I said. "Oh shoot. I didn't know she was with you." he said. "Babe it's fine. She knows." I said. "Oh" he said. I rolled my eyes. After a bit longer of talking, we decided to leave. Jake took mom and dad back to the hotel, the other two girls went with luke and them, all the Magcon boys minus Taylor and Cameron went back to their hotel as well. Alex, Taylor, Cameron, and I all left together and went on a double date. We went to buffalo wild wings. We had a blast. Alex's phone rang and she answered. The rest of us just talked and ate our appetizers until she was done. "Who was that?" cam asked. "My brother. He's gonna join us when he gets here." she said. After bout 10 minutes, her brother came over to our table. "Hey guys!" he said. "Hey bubba!" Alex said getting up and hugging him. I look over and it's Dylan. Alex introduced him to the boys. "Hey there ash, u not happy to see me?" Dylan asked. "Sorry I didn't realize you were there." I said standing up. "Its fine. Now give yo big-d a hug!!" he said. We all chuckled. I hugged him back and we hugged for a good 3 minutes until Alex pulled us apart. Finally our food came and Dylan joined us for lunch. When we were done, we left and went to target to get some stuff that we remembered. We spent bout an hour in there. After we checked out, we went back to our dorm, put stuff up and just chilled. Once it was around 10:00 pm, we all fell asleep. Alex and Taylor cuddling in her bed, Cameron in our moon chair, and Dylan and I cuddling in my bed.
