Haru's POV
'Ruby passed out after 20 minutes of crying.... I feel sorry of what happened to her...' I thought.
Yuuta picked her up in bridal style, he brought her to where Ruby and he was going to stay.
"She got affected a lot huh....?" I asked
"Yeah....She was still young when mom died....." he said looking down
"Her magic is...A void type?... Doesn't that magic...." I didn't continue, Yuuta just nodded in response meaning he knows.
Feeling what she felt....It happened to me too....
~~Flash back when Haru was 5~~
"Haru, Haru!!" I heard mother say, trying to find me
I giggled while hiding behind the tree, I felt someone touch my shoulder and said "I found you!" she said
"It's my turn! It's my turn!" I say excitedly while jumping up and down
"Haru! Layla!" I heard father say, calling us to go in
"We better go inside Haru. Let's continue tomorrow." she said smiling
"Okay!" I said in response
We walked back into our house, seeing father sat on the couch covering his face up using his hands.
"Dad? What's wrong?" I asked.
"The hunters.....They are hunting us." he said
"What?! Why us?!" mom asked
"Not us....Haru and Sen..." he said
"Is it because of them being part Wolf, and part Vampire?" she asked
Father just nodded
"Why would they....They're just children..."
"They're hunters....They do not care if it is a child or not."
After what dad said, we heard someone knock at our door
Mom made me run upstairs, I heard the door open
"Mr and Mrs. Drevis...May I ask where your child are?" I heard a soft and angelic voice say.
"Why do you need to know? They're just children!"
"Oh yes. Tho, they need to be removed from this realm and live in the human world." She said
"They'll weaken from that!! What did they do to deserve this?!" She asked
"They're existance." She said with a cold voice, sending shivers down my spine.
With great anger mom charged at her with her claws. "Layla!!!!" Dad exclaimed
Mom dug her claws deep into the woman, the woman struggled removing her away.
That's when....A gun shot was heard....I peaked down a little seeing a puddle of blood.....Another gun shot was heard....Dad fell on the floor.... There was so much blood..... "Mom? Dad?" I asked myself in a whispering voice... Tears rolled down my face...
She seems to have seen me, she went closer to the stairs and aimed her gun at me. A flash of light appeared. The place looks....Diffrent. I saw Sen behind me hugging me saying "It's alright..." trying to keep his tears in.
"We need to find grandma Rhea." He said as he grabbed my hand and dragged me along.
We entered a village seeing confused faces. Grandma Rhea came out from a hut, she ran to us and hugged us.
"Oh. How I've missed you two." She said
"Mom...Dad...Their dead...." I said
I felt her shed her tears, she carried me into her hut and sat me down on the bed.
"Haru.....Sen... You need to live with me in this village, okay?" She asked, we just nodded in response
~~Few days later~~
We entered this village a few days ago. Me and Sen didn't talk much, as if we were strangers to each other.
Grandma was doing her work, thus I was left alone.
I walked towards the pastry shop, but before I got there I heard a girl say "Hi!" I turned around seeing a girl with black hair and deep blue eyes starring at me
"Hello....." I said
"Are you new here?" She asked, I nodded to her in response
"I'm Ruby Tyler! And you are?" She asked
"Haru Drevis....." I said, a boy appeared behind Ruby suprising her
"Kazuya!!!!" She exclaimed, he just giggled
"Kazuya this is Haru Drevis, Haru this is Kazuya Haven. The heir to being the leader of the village was it?" She said, Kazuya just nodded.
He smiled to me, I smiled back.
Since then the three of us became close friends.

I sighed, seeing her in this state.... Isn't her..... She always smiles on top of everything..... I'm sorry Ruby..... I feel sorry to what happened to your mother.... I swear.... I will protect you....
