▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂
❝I seriously hate this job.❞
❝I have to pick up calls, take orders, and then pack food and drinks for what? Economy is growing tighter day by day yet they keep on lowering staffs' wages. I need a salary raise!❞
❝Ehem, Leila. Having issues with the company? The exit door is wide open for you anytime, sweetie.❞
❝Oh, it's nothing, Miss Sarah.❞ [ Leila stares at the manager tag pinned above her left chest. ]
❝That's Mrs. Mendes.❞
❝Wha—you're married to who?❞
❝I am mentally married to Shawn Mendes. Therefore, you shall call me Mrs. Mendes.❞
❝Miss Sarah Huntington, he doesn't even know you exist.❞
❝Ugh, you're such a party-pooper. By the way, you're taking over Alex's delivery duty. He says he's got hay fever or something.❞
❝WHAT? No, no. I am only a cashier slash delivery line worker. He's just lying so he can make out with his Honey Boo Boo in the shopping mall toilet!❞
❝Well, good news, you're being upgraded to an actual delivery girl.❞
❝I don't know how to ride a motorbike.❞
❝Let me recall the time that I interviewed you when you said your sugar daddy—❞
❝Ugh, ex-sugar daddy.❞
❝—taught you how to drive a motorbike two years ago. You even have a license.❞
❝Why did I ever say that though? What the hell?❞
❝So, now, you shall be the Miss Delivery Girl.❞
❝I don't want to.❞
❝You have to, or else you're fired.❞
❝Fine, but what's in it for me?❞
❝I don't know, a salary raise maybe?❞ [ Sarah raises one eyebrow, bringing a deal to the table. ]
❝Okay, I'll do it.❞
[ Joy cuddles Leila as her wish that day has been granted. While she packs up the order and puts on her delivery worker jacket, she studies the order receipt. ]
[ As soon as she reads the address, her eyes widen and her jaw drops. It's his address. She's going to deliver the Condom Guy's order. ]
