"All the men call me 'Princey.' All the women call me 'Electric Man.' Cause baby when I plug in your socket, I'll charge you like nobody can."

I watched him writhe around on the stage, commanding the attention of every woman in the room. Including me. I couldn't look away from him if I wanted to. It was one of those things where you know you shouldn't be looking, but you have to know what'll happen next. So, you look anyway. When my best friend, Josie, asked me to go with her to a Prince concert while my fiancé is out of town, I wasn't sure what to expect, or whether I should even come in the first place, because I'd heard so many things about him, but watching the way he used that microphone stand as if it were a real live woman....what he did to it....let's just say I've never been jealous of an object in my entire life.

"Oh....my....God....is he....?" I croaked out, a flush of color making its way to my cheeks, watching his hips gyrate on top of the microphone stand as if he were giving the greatest fuck of his life. For lack of better words. My eyes widened.

Staring at this type of thing had to be illegal, right?

Staring at this type of thing had to be illegal, right?

Yes, it definitely has to be.

"Yes. Yes, he is." Josie replied once she heard me, her own eyes widening. She grinned and wiggled her eyebrows at me. I chuckled and pushed at her arm.

"Goofy ass."

"You like my goofiness though!"

Screams could be heard throughout the audience before I could even respond to her as Prince finished off the song with a bang. Literally.

I could only stare back at him as he paused for a moment, his light brown orbs scanning the crowd. He lowered his mouth to the microphone, preparing to say something.

"Fade the shit out, I'm through." Was all I heard him say and the music faded out immediately afterward, causing the audience to scream a little louder than before.

I held my chest and swallowed hard, trying to process what I've just witnessed.

We're at a Prince concert.
