You were sent to the dungeons. All of you. For something big mouth, pug faced Parkinson said. You didn't agree with her and neither did a few others but what were you to do?

While being escorted down to the dark dungeon by Filtch you saw your friend Draco Malfoy take two fellow Slytherins from the gaggle of people and down an opposite hallway. You quickly squeezed your way out of the group and ran down after them, clutching your wand tightly.
Turning a corner, you had lost them but instead found Neville Longbottom standing in front of you.
"Oh (Y/N). What are you doing down here?" He asked, wearily but he had faith that you were one of the few Slytherins with good intentions.
You looked at him with determination but soft eyes. "It's no use me in there. I want to help you all. I'm not going to sit back and let Voldemort win." You explained as Neville smiled.
"Everyone is in the Great Hall. Stay safe." He patted your shoulder and began walking away before quickly turning. "Oh, and (Y/N). Thank you." He grinned, running down the corridor.
You nodded, not at anyone but just in acknowledgement. And with that you headed to the Great Hall.

When running in, everyone was getting ready. Harry was running away towards the Ravenclaw common room for some reason, Hermione and Ron were walking off to the girls toilets and the Teachers and Order were setting protection around the castle.
You strolled past the Weasley twins as they began to make their was out of the room. They gave you an acknowledging nod as if to thank you for being on their side as the walked hastily past you.

As the Death Eaters began to break through the shield that surrounded the school, you ran through the halls to prevent any intruders from the sides of the castle. Death Eaters came at you through the windows and down the corridors as you fought them off.
You continued walking before you were down a hallway just round the corner from the Room of Requirement.
Stood before you was a massively burly man, drowned in a long black trench coat that's went down to his ankles. The man smirked menacingly at you as you began firing spell after spell at him. He deflected every one of them, approaching you calmly.
He suddenly started firing hexes and crises your way as you struggled to keep up with the magic that was bombarding you.

One spell slipped past your defence and knocked you across the room and onto your back. Falling to the ground with an almighty crash, the wild haired man strode towards you, his trench coats flowing behind him. His wand rose into the air as he began casting the spell that would cause you never to see the light of day again.
Before he could finish the spell, the man fell to his knees, then flopped onto the floor. As he fell he revealed a tall, messy haired blonde boy in a jet black suit. Draco. He stood there with his wand at arms length, pointing it at the Death Eater and starring at him evilly. "You owe my (Y/L/N)." He looked down at you and nodded before walking away from you and the collapsed man before you.

You weren't entirely sure who's side he was on but you were thankful that he saved you from the Death Eater.
Picking yourself up off the ground, you gripped your wand tighter then ever and cleared your head. You needed to focus so the events of the last few minutes didn't happen again. Gathering yourself together you marched down the hallways continuing to defend yourself against the arse holes that were trying to kill you.
You made your way down to the Great Hall, where outside you see Draco taking on a Death Eater double the size of him in both height and width. He was doing rather well with a scowl on his face and determination coursing through his body. But then you saw it; a glimmer of fear in his eyes as he tried to mask it from his enemy.
You ceased your chance and killed the Death Eater before he could harm Draco anymore than he had.

Draco looked over at you in confusion but his face soon softened realising you save him. "Now we're even." You stated, as he smirked at you.
Out of nowhere, Draco took your hand, running away from most of the commotion, dodging spells and out to a safer place.
"Sorry I just left you earlier." He apologised.
You shrugged. "It's no problem. Thank you for saving me." You thanked timidly.
He stroked his thumb over your cold hand. "Why wouldn't I? I have always admired you (Y/N). You're a fantastically talented witch." He confessed.
You looked down, hiding your face behind your hair. "Thank you. But I'm nothing compared to you." You admit before he tucked your hair behind your ear and you look up at him.
His deep grey, blue eyes stair straight into yours as you look back at him.
You were interrupted suddenly by whispers in your ears from Voldemort himself. When it was over, you both walked back to the Great Hall together hand in hand, checking people were alright on your way there.
