You were infamous. Feared by many. Almost as dangerous as Voldemort in the Ministry's eyes. That's why he enjoyed having you on his side. You never fit in when you were at Hogwarts. You were a quiet Slytherin with enemies as far as the eye could see. You never really said anything. It was just the actions you took that sent people running in the opposite direction. In 6th year, you were expelled for hexing a 7th year girl. You honestly deemed it as out of order due to the fact Harry Potter was only in 5th year and he had already killed a Professor, flow an illegal car, let a wanted 'criminal' go free, entered the TriWizard tournament as an underage Wizard and formed a club that challenged the ministry. Why hadn't he been kicked out? But you had more important things to focus on. The Dark Lords plans.

You were one of Voldemorts most loyal subjects with a lust for evil like Bellatrix, sinister mannerisms like Snape and a quiet persona like Narcissa. You were what Draco viewed as the perfect girl. He had liked you for years, since before you both even started Hogwarts. But his intrigue had grown since he had started to see you around the manor for countless Death Eater related meetings.
Before Draco started his 6th year, he had been sort out by the Dark Lord as their newest recruit due to the absence of his father and the advantages a Hogwarts student would have to the tasks ahead. At first, Draco was skeptical, thinking he wasn't strong enough to do something like this. But he had seen you around a considerable amount and wanted to impress you. Draco wondered if it was really worth it, sneaking around, doing sketchy shit. But he knew that he would do anything just for you to notice him.

Draco hadn't been sleeping right. He kept waking up constantly in the middle of the night or not being able to sleep full stop. When he first became a Death Eater, he thought his dedication to the Dark Lord would be enough to grab your attention, but now he was in to deep. Draco had been given the task of killing his headmaster who was dearly loved by many, student or not. He was reluctant, sure, but deep down he felt a flicker of something. Something that urged him to do it. Gave him a reason. As Draco sat in his dorm alone, a smirk plastered his face. He jumped out of bed and headed swiftly to the Room of Requirement. Upon arrival, Draco saw the tall, triangular vanishing cabinet at the end of a line of junk. The young Slytherin began muttering softly to the cabinet to try and mend the dark artefact. He had been attempting this for a few weeks, each time improving it in the slightest. But it was almost ready. He only needed a few more days until the cabinet would be in perfect working condition.

The time came for the mission to be finalised. As Draco opened the door to the Vanishing Cabinet a few days later, he ran to the Astronomy Tower where he knew Dumbledore would be. Seeping slowly out from the cabinet doors came a rush of black smoke, followed by three Death Eaters; Bellatrix, Greyback and you. Draco made his way to the tower, waisting no time in getting there to confront the powerful Wizard. The boy heard muttered words from above him as he ascended the spiral staircase towards his headmaster. It was as though Dumbledore was talking to someone.
As Draco raised his wand, he approached the famously great Wizard. "Who were you talking to?" Draco spat looking the older man up and down, refusing to take his eyes off of him incase he tried anything.
Dumbledore shrugged. "I like to talk to myself some times." He stated, not that Draco believed him, but he was more concerned about the mans hand reaching for his wand.
"Expelliarmus." Draco called, disarming the all powerful wizard and leaving him cornered in front of the picturesque scenery that had been tainted by the tumbling black clouds and rain that was about to hammer down.

"Draco. You don't have to do this you know. We can help you and your family. To keep them safe." Dumbledore tried to bargain with the blonde boy but he refused.
He shook his head profusely.  "I don't want your help. You don't understand. I want to do this. I have to do this. I'm going to prove to her I can do this." He spoke evenly.
His older counterpart looked perplexed. "Her? Do you not want to please Voldemort, Draco?" He asked.
Draco gritted his teeth. "No. He doesn't matter to me. I'm not doing this for him." Draco began before he was interrupted by the presence of three new bodies.
"Oh. Well done Draco." Bellatrix hissed as she came to place a hand on her nephew's shoulder.
Dumbledore looked over the three new people, recognising only two. "Evening Bellatrix. (Y/N)." He nodded in your direction as you narrowed your eyes at the man who banished you from these grounds a year ago.
Draco's head whipped round quickly to look at you as you gave the boy a sly smile of admiration. He blushed slightly before looking back at Dumbledore who could see the slight colour rising in his cheeks. "Her?" He simply asked.
Bellatrix didn't give anyone anymore time to speak when she muttered to Draco. "Just do it Draco. Make the Dark Lord proud."
Draco didn't move his head, but instead just his eyes to look over at you as you gave a reassuring smile accompanying a light nod. "I'm sorry Professor. Avada Kedavra." Draco apologised before sending the man hurtling off of the astronomy tower.

Snape quickly ran in, realising he was to late to stop Draco from becoming the killer he never really was. He quickly lead the boy out of the room and down the hundreds of steps and through the castle. As his aunt destroyed the windows of the Great Hall, Draco stood there reflecting on what had just happened. You walked up to him and took his hand. "No point in dwelling on what's been done. Unless you have a time turner. But just know I'm proud. Not even a lot of the adults would have the guts to do something like that." You winked before dragging him by the hand out of the hall, following Snape through the all to familiar corridors, giggling as Bellatrix cackled behind you as she skipped.
You and Draco smirked as you heard Harry's calls from behind as he hurtled spells in your direction, missing every time. Draco still gripped your hand tight and you didn't blame him. He was scared of what was to come. But he had shown his allegiance, and for that you wanted to protect him. He was vulnerable and sweet. But you knew that deep down he had a dark side that was itching to get out. You just needed to provoke it a little bit. And that, you couldn't wait for.
