Masquerade

I was sitting in bed my journal in my lap
listening to the conversation downstairs
Caroline had seen Katerina today of course she did I first thought
but the conversation got interesting

Father: I'm going to go to the Masquerade Ball and I'm gonna kill her. Tonight.
Uncle Stefan: You're not gonna kill her.
Father: Don't give me that goody goody crap.

Uncle Stefan: You're not gonna kill her.
Father: Oh really?
Uncle Stefan: Because I am.

Writing in my journal whist biting my lip

"They had a plan..
Uncle Stefan and my Father have made a plan to kill Katerina.
A part of me wants to believe it will work but another part of me is saying its not going to.
Elena doesn't know about this plan but everyone else does.
Deep deep down I have a feeling its going to be a bad bad bad bad idea.
Something else tells me someone might die tonight.

I slammed my journal shut and sighed as I got ready
The Lockwoods are holding the annual Masquerade ball, and I haven't attended one in about 100 years

-Flashback-

I was dancing and laughing with Elijah.
"My My I didn't think I would see another genuine smile on your face Salem"
He spoke to me causing me to bite my lip smiling a bit
"After what I have been through I didn't even think I would smile
But I have to thank you and Klaus taking me in as your own"
"It was mostly Niklaus Salem but either way you are welcome"
Elijah said taking my hand and spinning me in a complete circle

I went to take a shower and as I turned the water on
it was silent downstairs until I herd my father's voice
"Salem knows the plan she has been eavesdropping all day"
I smirked the Salvatore smirk and quickly jumped in
After finishing my shower I got ready for the ball

Standing in front of my Mirror
Sighed and tied the mask on me
before going downstairs and meeting up with the rest of my family
Together we all went to the Lockwoods

I stood there eating a chocolate covered strawberry
"Nice to see you again Salem" Rolling my eyes I looked over to my left, "Katerina" I said flatly. She smirked at me, "Have you seen Damon or Stefan?" She asked me
"No, do I care..Nope" I said taking another strawberry
She scoffed at me leaving
I spotted Bonnie going up to her
"The rooms ready"
I nodded at her ditching them and going up the stairs and into the room
Passing my Uncle and Father

I hid behind the wall as the doors flung open
I listened closely

Katerina: You don't really think that you can kill me with that thing now, do you?
Uncle Stefan: No..... But he can.

The sound of the stake gun went off

then the boys were attacking her with the stakes
I came out from behind the wall and flung a stake which hit her in the back again
Suddenly Jeremy came running
"STOP! Stop! Everything you do is hurting Elena" He said before leaving the room

"Thought you were the only ones with a witch on your side?  something tells me that my witch is better than your witch" Katerina said and Stefan turned to Jeremy.
"Jeremy you go check on Elena make sure shes okay" Uncle Stefan said and Katerina rolled her eyes, "Course lets all go see if poor Elena is okay reminds me of you" Katerina said pointing the stake at me. Of course its gonna remind her of me because Klaus did the exact same thing. "If it was up to me you would be dead by now" I muttered under my breathe causing Katerina to smirk. Katerina took a stake and went to stab her self in the stomach ''Wait!"
"Okay" She said smirking

She sat on the couch crossing her legs
"So...about that moonstone" said said causing me to roll my eyes

"The three of us together, just like old times. The brother who loved me too much and the one that didn't love me enough."
Katerina said
"And the evil slut vampire who only loved herself." I said rolling my eyes
She glared at me but looked at at my Father
" What happened to you Damon? You used to be so sweet and polite."
" Oh that Damon died a looong time ago." My dad said

I just rolled my eyes as I went over and poured myself a drink
"Pour me one?" She asked me
"Go to hell" I said bringing my drink to my lips

Sitting there My head perked up as I herd Uncle Stefan, "In 1864 you faked your death. Who were you running from Katherine?" Katerina of course avoided the question "I sure love you in a suit.." she sighed and rolled her eyes continuing to say, "In 1987, you were in Chicago. At a concert of all places with that wench Lexi. Come on Stefan, don't look so surprised. Of course I checked in on you over the years. You were standing in the front row, dancing all night, you were watching Bon Jovi and I was watching you." She said, "What were you running from?" Uncle Stefan asked

"Your Just wasting your breathe!" I snapped making all heads turn to me
Katerina smirked at me, "Be careful Salem you don't want people to talk" She said coming over to me whispering in my ear only low enough so I could hear
she walked away from me and I rolled my eyes

It was silent after that
The witch that helped Katerina came in with the moonstone
"Lucy?" I asked
"Hello Salem" she smiled kindly at me which I returned
Father fixed his eyes from me to her
Lucy handed Katerina the moonstone
which when she did caused Katerina to choked like her air was cut off
"You should of told me another witch was involved she was a bennett witch but I'm sure you knew that" she said
Katerina dropped to the floor the moonstone beside her

Lucy looked at my Uncle and Father before speaking "I Apologize for my involvement Nice seeing you again Salem"
"You too Luc!" I said and she smiled winking at me before she left
Getting up I looked over Katerina "Didn't expect that huh you snotty bitch" I spat at her before grabbing the Moonstone
"I think i'll keep this" I said
"Uh Nope I will be" Dadd said taking it from my grasp
"Daddy" I whined but she just smiled at me and kissed my head
"Lets go" He said and I smiled at them before we all flashed out

sat on my bed writing the last of today in my journal
I was planning on going out to the grill for a couple drinks before bed
Closing my journal I put it on my shelf Turning around I saw a person
and soon my neck was snapped and ejecting me with something and everything went black
