The Murder Of One

Dad, Alaric, and Stefan are creating stakes from the Wickery Bridge sign. I've just sat around wittling. Uncle Stefan looks at one of the stakes, "This needs to have a sharper point." He said and handed it too me but daddy took it from me," I got it." He said and winked at me

"We finally have our own stakes to kill an Original. I'm not gonna miss because you can't whittle." He spat at me, I rolled my eyes at him as dad said "I said I got it. Stop micromanaging."
Dad sharpens the point of the stake as Alaric puts on his jacket." Looks like you guys have got this under control. I'm gonna call the Sheriff." Alaric said, Dad Stefan and I shoot a look at him.
"I want to turn myself in." Alaric said shrugging. "No you don't." Daddy argued with him
" I have a homicidal alter ego. Unlike some people in this room, I would like to take responsibility for the people I've killed." Alaric argued back

" If you wanted to turn yourself in, you wouldn't be saying it out loud. Just saying." I said and got up and poured myself a glass of bourbon
" Hey, listen, out of all the people you cannot psychoanalyze me.
I killed Caroline's father; I nearly killed Meredith. and you Salem Everything's changed." He said and motioned to me  I huffed and chuckled " You can't necessarily kill me" I said taking a drink from my glass."Look, you're not turning yourself in. Bonnie's herbs are working and we have Originals to kill." Stefan said

" His morals get very questionable when he has revenge on the brain." I said giggling a bit
" Klaus needs to die. We finally have the chance to kill him, so you are not turning yourself in." Stefan told us and I rolled my eyes Daddy gets up and turns to Alaric and hands him his ring.
"Here's your ring, Ric. Put it on." Daddy said, " That ring is the reason I've killed people." Alaric said trying to deny the ring "It's also the reason you're alive. You're going vampire hunting, Ric. Wear it." Daddy said and Alaric finally agreed putting it on

We rounded up everyone to meet us in the woods to talk plans, Uncle Stefan was the first to talk
"Klaus has always been one step ahead of us, but now we have the advantage. We're all armed and they are all linked, meaning we only need to kill one of them. We need to seize the best opportunity, which means we need to prepare for every opportunity."

 

"Scenario number one." Daddy said Daddy grabs Elena and moves her over. "You get to play Klaus." He says and she nods saying "Okay."

"Rebekah is our target so we distract her and catch her off guard. To do that we need to keep Klaus separate and occupied." Uncle Stefan says and then looks at Caroline " Caroline."
"Why do I always have to be Klaus bait?" Caroline wined, "Because he's obsessed with you." Daddy said and I giggled.

Daddy walks over to Caroline. "But for right now we need you to play Rebekah. We use the quarterback to distract her. Just keep her talking." Daddy said. "How?" Matt asked, "Act interested. She's lonely, desperate." Daddy said, " Clearly. She slept with you." I said under my breath, and Elena suppresses a grin. "Hm. Beefcake holds bombshell. I come up from behind her." Daddy started, before he gets behind Caroline, grabs her arms, and put them behind her back and says " Grab her arms like this."
"Ow!" Caroline Cries out Stefan comes up with the stake in his hand, imitating stabbing Caroline. " Gives me time for one shot." Uncle Stefan says Daddy lets go of Caroline as Uncle Stefan continues to talk. " Got it? Good. So we all have one stake, we keep it hidden and we look out for any opportunity we have."

" No last minute attacks of pity for any of them. " Daddy said shooting looks at Elena. " Don't worry about me. Not after what happened to Bonnie's mom." Elena said " Barbie?" Daddy asked
" Oh, I'm ready. Anything that will free Tyler from his sire bond to Klaus." Caroline boosted
"Busboy?" Daddy asked " Do I have a choice?" Matt asked
"Good point." Daddy said and then smiled at me
"Salem?" He asked, I nodded "I'll do it" I said But actually to be honest I don't know if I really can. "We have 12 stakes, 12 shots at killing one Original. We can do this. Alright, let's try another scenario. Elena grab a crossbow. Matt, you play Klaus." Uncle Stefan says
