As I Lay Dying

I sat in my bed as Stefan knocked on my door
"Can we talk?" He asked
"Yeah come on in" I told him
he sat next to me and sighed "I need to tell you something"
"Okay" I said
"Tyler he uh.. He bit Damon"
"What" I breathed out tears forming

"I have Bonnie looking for something"
"No! He can't just die!" I yelled out the lamp next to us exploded
I sighed and stood up flashing downstairs
I opened the door in the celler that contained my father
closing it behind me I gently pushed him "When were you gonna tell me?" I asked
tears spilling over "You just got back I-" He called
"Salem" He started

I threw myself in his arms and sobbed he held him as we sunk down to the ground
"Your gonna die and then leave me here" I said and he rubbed my back
"I know and I'm sorry i'm so so so sorry" he said and i sniffled
I pulled up his sleeve
"Sale what are you doing" he called but i took him arm in my hand hovering a hand over it muttering some words, nothing happened and it made me cry harder

"That looks bad" Ric's voice called out
"Feels worse" dad said and Ric poured him a glass of bourbon
Dad grabbed Ric around his neck and ric vervained him and let me out
I flashed to the library and began to throw books off the shelf
I saw Liz but I didnt care
"I know its here somewhere" I said and grabbed a certain book
I flipped through my mothers grimoire but as I looked up
Liz was coming out
"Damon Salvatore escaped" she said it into her little walkie talkie"

I paced back and forth as I called Elena
"Don't worry I got him i'm bringing him back right now" she spoke to me
"Okay" I said

Elena brought him back and we took him up to his room setting him on his bed
I sat criss cross next to him Elena stood beside the bed
hr groaned in pain and I sniffled as tears came and I curled up next to him
"Tell Stefan im sorry okay" Damn said and Elena nodded "I will"
Daddy put an arm around me and kissed me head faintly
"Im sorry honey" I shook my head "I forgave you already its okay" I said
I laid there my head on daddy's chest listening just listening

Damon: This is even more pitiful than I thought.
Elena: There's still hope.
Damon: I've made a lot of choices that have gotten me here. I deserve this. I deserve to die.
Elena: No. You don't.
Damon: I do, Elena. It's okay. 'Cause if I'd have chosen differently, I wouldn't have met you. I'm so sorry. Done so many things to hurt you.
Elena: It's okay. I forgive you.
Damon: I know you love Stefan. And it will always be Stefan.
Damon: But I love you. You should know that.
Elena started to cry as she spoke
Elena: I do.
Damon: You should have met me in 1864. You would have liked me.
Elena: I like you now. Just the way you are.
Damon: Thank you.
Elena: You're welcome.
Katherine: Well, it's me you should be thanking.
I lifted my head but then laid it back down as Daddy's grip on me tightened
Katherine: I mean, I'm the one who brought the cure.
Katherine: I thought you were dead.
Elena: I was.

Katerina sat down next to us
Damon: You got free.
Katherine: Yep. Finally.
She helps daddy drink the blood in the glass bottle

Damon: And you still came here?

Katherine: I owed you one.
Elena: Where's Stefan?
Katherine: Are you sure you care?
Elena: Where is he?
Katherine: He's paying for this.
Katherine: He gave himself over to Klaus. I wouldn't expect him anytime soon.
Elena: What do you mean, "he gave himself over"?
Katherine: He just sacrificed everything to save his brother, including you.
It's a good thing you have Damon to keep you company. Good-bye, Elena. Oh. It's ok to love them both. I did.

I sat up and Smiled and hugged him tightly

After everyone left I kissed him cheek and tucked him in before going back into my room
