Live and Let Die

My wedges made a clacking noise against the concrete as I walked down the road
you could hardly hear it because of all the noise and partying. A Halloween in New Orleans is the best. I walked into the witches store on the corner, "Hey baby!" I herd and I smiled. "Hey Whin" I said and grabbed the list from my pocket handing it too her. "I'll get these for you Sale" she said and left behind the curtain her bell on the door went off and someone came in.

I grabbed one of the night catchers on the shelf and a black healing crystal. "Trouble Sleeping?" I herd and turned to see Kaleb/Kol
"What do you what?" I asked rolled my eyes as I took the things to the table. "I know where Davina is ... and she wants me to bring you to her" he told me. "You mean Ester wants you to kill me?" I asked turning to him. He opened his mouth and Whinny came out with a box, "Here you go Salem" she said and plopped the box on the counter ringing it up. "Alright thanks Whin" I said and paid her walking out

Kaleb followed me
"Come on Darling. we had our fun times just come do me a favor" he said and I sighed
This is Kol Salem. I thought
"Fine" I said stopping and turning around grabbing his keys from his hands
"But I'm driving"
Kol sat in the front seat as I drove
"So Ester is trying to get you to get Davina to spill all her secrets"
"Yep" Kol said his accent rolling off his tongue
"She's a 16 year old girl she's not stupid" I said and Kol laughed
"You were pretty stupid when you were 16" he told me and I laughed
"I was something" I said and we both laughed

"We had our fun and I see the way you look at her Kol you look at her like you used to look at me that protective smirk combined with that loving glance" I said smiling and Kol looked at me. "Darling?" Kol asked and I just smiled
"Go get your girl Kol" I said as I turned around the corner "Just don't forget me"
"She will be my love but you Salem.. you'll always be my darling little Mikealson" he said and leaned over  kissing my cheek making me smile. I pulled up in front of Davina's old cabin and we both got out.  Kol grabbed a box of items from the car and we went inside
"Davina?" I called and she called "In here! Come on in!" I smirked as I walked inside Kol behind me. "Wow love what'd you do to yourself" Kol asked as he rushed to her side propping her ankle up. "I know just the thing that'll help" I said and left the cabin

I whipped up a concoction and took it inside and handed it too Kol. I sat next to Davina as Kol uses his fingers to scoop up an herbal poultice that I made in a bowl and spreads it over Davina's injured foot. " Ugh, it smells like--"

"The wrong end of something quite dead? Yeah. It's just a little something I picked up from a shaman bloke in Uganda."  He finishes treating her ankle, "'There you go!" Davina sighs in relief and tries to stand up.

" Wow, the pain is just--" She stumbles on her numb foot, but Kol catches her before she can hit the floor. " Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" Kol and I both call out. He sits her down on the bench next to me, " It's magic, alright? It's not a miracle." He sets her ankle on the chair so it can rest before nodding toward the vials, herbs, and parchments with magical writing sitting on the table. "That's quite the spell you've got going here! " he said making Davina chuckle. " I mean, not to pry, but I figured you had your secrets after our last date ended in a werewolf bar brawl."
" Yeah, I'm sorry about that."
I looked at the parchments and then realized whos it was.

"I'll uh... be right back" I said getting up smiling at them and walked out of the cabin
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed the number I knew to call if I was in trouble
