Chapter 16 - The Proposal

"ANNOUNCEMENT: Ms. Marydale Entrata please proceed to the Auditorium now."

Lahat ng kakilala ko nandito sa dinadaan ko ay nakatingin na sa akin. Grabe. Nakakahiya.

Naglakad na ako papunta sa auditorium. Medyo malayo layong lakaran din pero ok lang baka importante yung kailangan kong mapuntahan.

"Meron pong nagpapabigay ng lobo." si Kuya Janitor binigyan ako ng pink na lobo.

"Thank you Kuya!"

Tiningnan ko yung lobo dahil napansin ko na parang may nakasulat.

Napangiti ako. Sino kaya ito?

Nagpatuloy lang ako sa paglalakad dahil malayo talaga para makarating na din ako dun ng maaga aga.

"Ms. Entrata."

"Ma'am, Good Afternoon po." nasalubong ko yung teacher ko sa English.

"Somebody asked me to give this to you." may inabot siya sa akin na isa pang balloon.

"Thank you po."

Pigil na pigil talaga akong kiligin. Kaya parang sinasapian ang itsura ko dito.

"Ate meron pong nagpapabigay." sabi nung babae. Another balloon.

"This song is for Ms. Marydale Entrata." boses yun ni Aizan. Ako nanaman. Makikilala na ako ng buong campus eh. Nakakahiya. Kaya naglakad ako ng nakayuko. Bahala na kung may mabunggo. Sila na lang yung umiwas.

Ang ganda ng boses nilang dalawa. Yung tipong mapapatigil ka sa ginagawa mo at makikinig ka na lang sa boses nila.

Napangiti ako. Yung tipong hindi matanggal yung ngiti sa mga labi ko. Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad hanggang sa makarating ako sa auditorium.
