Even from the attic I could smell the breakfast Pierce cooked up. The scent carried all the way to my room where I was suddenly hit with an unknown hunger. It was so delicious that I couldn't help but smile. Slowly getting out of bed, I pulled along my blanket and headed downstairs.

"This is amazing," I heard Matt groan as he took a bite of what looked like Pierce's pancakes. I've had those pancakes countless times and they still managed to taste the way they were the first time.

"Thanks," Pierce smiled from the stove. My mom was standing beside him, listening to the directions on how to flip the pancakes. Just by watching them I could tell that Pierce was giving my mom his favorite recipes.

"Mom, why don't you make pancakes like this?" Matt asked.

"Well I can now." My mom replied.

I sat at the dining table, everyone quickly saying hello and good morning. I couldn't help but look over my shoulder into the living room. Aaron wasn't sleeping on the couch. In fact, he wasn't even in the room. Instead of the couch being covered in a ball of blankets, Aaron folded them neatly on top. But when I looked around the kitchen as well, I came out empty.

"Where's Aaron?" I asked.

Matt looked up from the pancakes basically spitting syrup in my face as he said, "He's in the garage with Will and James. They're fixing Petunia."

Petunia is Will's truck. When we named Daisy after a flower, we decided to name all of our cars that way. Every time any of us gets a new car, it ends up with the name of some sort of plant. It's a family tradition. We really enjoy looking up what to name cars too.

"Could you spit any louder?" I asked running my hand slowly across my cheek.

Matt purposely put a lot of pancake in his mouth and blew his tongue at me. "Like that?"

"Mom!" I shouted. "Matt just spit on me."

"Say you're sorry," My mom said from the stove.

"But I didn't do anything!" Matt defended himself helplessly.

My mom turned to face Matt and with a stern look said, "Say sorry."

"Sorry," grumbled Matt. I gave a victorious smile that cause him to glare at me while stabbing his pancakes violently.

Pierce smirked, "How childish Parker."

"The important thing is," I pulled a plate to me and put a pancake down. "I won."

During breakfast I kept getting texts from Ashley about getting together. She asked if I was still interested in going to the bonfire and I told her I would ask the guys. I wasn't sure who exactly was going, but being out of the house is probably better than keeping the guys in here where they're in a confined space with my brothers.

"Pierce," I asked just as he sat down next to me. "You will down to go to the bonfire tonight?"

"And meet everyone else in Michigan?" Pierce grinned, "Hell yeah."

"Don't get your hopes up," Matt muttered without even looking up from his plate. I think he was on his fourth pancake. "Majority of the people here are straight."

Pierce gave me a deadpan face, making sure Matt wasn't looking. "Bummer," Pierce said in a monotone voice. I could tell he was silently hating me at the moment.

I couldn't help but laugh softly as I stood up and put my plate in the sink. My mom had disappeared—most likely to go upstairs and clean up the rooms. My dad was probably already out for work. Which meant I had to somehow come up with something for us to do.

I walked out to the garage, instantly hit with the cold. The car door was wide open and in our driveway I could see the three guys looking under Petunia's hood. Aaron was pointing at certain things while Will and James watched. I slipped on my rain boots and headed towards them.

"How'd you learn so much about cars?" Will asked as he stood beside Aaron. He was holding something out of the way while Aaron basically had his head stuck in the car.

"My best friend," Aaron answered looking up. "He's a car fanatic."

"I should meet this guy," James said as he carefully watched what Aaron was doing. "For someone that's in business, you sure know a lot."

"I learned from the best," Aaron added in. He finished cranking something and pulled his arm away from the truck. Will went around to the passenger seat and ignited the car. Petunia gave out a small puff before turning on. "There you go," Aaron gave his half grin and shut the hood.

James asked him certain things about the engine, piston, transmission, etcetera. Even from my garage I could tell that Aaron was freezing. He kept his hands in the hoodie James gave him. I was really thankful one of my brothers was being nice to Aaron. Not saying they were all mean to him, Will was just being defensive. But James really seemed to take a liking to Aaron. I'm not sure why.

"Ew," Will said when he saw me. "The urchin is back."
