Most people have been taught that there are always consequences for their actions. Newton's Third Law said it best: "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." The only problem with Newton's Third Law is that science doesn't take into consideration one important factor — love. Whether originated in a mother's heart or between the hearts of two lovers, sometimes the actions we take, all in the name of love, do not produce equal and opposite reactions. Sometimes, the consequences we must endure could never have been anticipated.
Best friends turned lovers, Jubilee Carlisle and Blake Griffin finally chose their love for each other over their challenging circumstances. Fate brought this high school English teacher and top NBA power forward together in college years ago, but now they face the consequences of their recent choices. Inspired by love, but tainted by fear, anger, and the fierce desire to protect, these choices have led to consequences that Jubilee and Blake could have never predicted. Haunted by an old flame, pressured by the prospect of new life, and devastated by the separation from their soul mate, will these two lovers only suffer the consequences of their actions, or will they eventually overcome them?
