A/N:  Hello my dear readers!

Here is a little one shot I made after I watched " The Huntsman and the Icy Queen", so I inspired myself from it. while listening " Castle" from Halsey.

It's cute and short and I want you to never stop believing in the things you love.

Would you like another chatroom? If yes, any ideas?

Hope you enjoy!

Coldness.

A feeling paralysing the circulation of blood in your veins, as if everything had stopped the moment death entered in your life.

You held your frozen heart, being now a queen of a desolate iciness kingdom: the continuity of your life.

How were you supposed to keep on fighting when the most trustworthy member of the Mystic Arts had betrayed the very purpose you fought for Dormmamu.

Once Kaecilius was gone, leaving a trail of ashes and dead bodies behind him, the hope which was blazing your heart disappeared, vanished like a breath on a candle to let place to coldness, and the wintry bite of ice. Your powers were already linked to water, able to control any liquid and heat but had now turned into ice, giving birth to the nickname « The Ice Queen ».

Despair consumed you, leaving your form in a mess of sobs which quickly turned into frozen tears. The Ancient One tried to help you, but the previous spark which shone in your eyes was gone and she knew only time would help you to brighten again.

Hope had driven your life, keeping you away from the desolation of vast plains of coldness your heart now bore.

You kept on practising, honing the new advantage ice could master, harnessing this freezing energy into a weapon or an unbreakable wall or shield. For days, the temple was left into a dense atmosphere of the frozen time, tiny snowflakes landing softly on the building as if a hand had put an ivory blanket on it.

A few days after Stephen had come into the temple, he asked Mordo why it was so cold in the room you were practising in. He observed your form moved gracefully and the white blast of ice touched every dummy in the training room. Mordo smirked at Stephen and only said this words which triggered the interest of the former neurosurgeon:

« She's the Ice Queen, Stephen »

His eyebrows furrowed, intrigued by his master's answer:

« What do you mean? »

His smirk widened:

« Watch and learn »

Then he left, leaving a puzzled Stephen with his cloak trying to stroke his cheek...again! Too lost in your training, you didn't see the sorcerer leant against a wall, watching your every move, pondering about the coldness your aura was spreading. You focussed on your hands, in an attempt to create a snowball and sent it roughly at the dummy but, blind by the sudden rush of anger spreading through your veins, you missed your target and the blast of ice was thrown straight towards Stephen. The man easily dodged it, moving aside and watched in awe, the ice broke through the wall and rooted itself in it, freezing its path in a white trail. Your scared voice snapped him out of his thoughts:

« God ! I'm so sorry ! Are you okay ? »

You grabbed his shoulders, making him face you and you froze. You missed a heartbeat, the moment you touched him a warm feeling overwhelmed your chest, or more specifically your heat. His gaze, once destroyed by the loss of his hands, was shining like a firework and instead of making run away or denying it, a spark of hope sneaked its way to your vital matrice. You had already seen him, often crossing each other path on the library but no words were spoken except the introductions and the « hello » or « good morning ». His eyes, so breathtaking awestruck you and you stumbled back, breathing heavily. He frowned at your behaviour and took your arm, bringing a new burning feeling in your limb. You detached yourself from his grasp, shouting angrily:

« Stop that!  I can't bear it!»

You were slowly feeling again. You who had close off the world were breathing again, breaking the icy wall encompassing invisibly your figure. And you knew it was HIS doing! How ? You had no idea but you were afraid. He stepped closer, completely surprised by your reaction:

« Y/N. I'm okay, you didn't hurt me. »

Even his word was a soft lullaby in your ears, luring you as the whisper the wind bears to get through any cracks and it did get through one. You looked at him warily, afraid to step out of the shell you had taken shelter at the betrayal of Kaecilius.

He moved closer until a small gap separated you from him and you gradually looked at him, falling in the blueness of his eyes. It was like diving into an ocean of azure sky, almost like a hurricane. He gently stroke your cheek, noticing the slight flicker your eyes.

« I won't hurt you, Y/N. Never. »

« But you will leave me, one day or another. »

You stepped away from him but he grabbed your arm and pushed you towards him. You didn't have time to react and landed right into his muscular chest. He muttered soft words in your ears, his chin on your head, petting your head.

« You are not alone Y/N, not anymore. You're important to me. No matter what, you can always count on me . »

His words snaked their path into your heart, breaking the last thread and you hugged him tighter, tears rolling down your cheeks, crystallised water breaking in thousand pieces on the floor, but you didn't care. You knew you had someone who cared and that is all matter. Your once frozen heart, the stone iced heart melted at Stephen's proximity.

« Now, now, my Ice Queen, there is no need for tears. »

He lifted your chin with his thumb, making you face him and kissed away your tears until finally kissing your lips.

Little did you know, the Ancient One and Mordo were watching the scene from afar and the Black Magician said :

« Love is the purest fire she needed to break her castle of ice, isn't it? »

The Ancient One nodded and returned to her chambers, leaving intimacy for the new couple who was still kissing, slowly growing into something more.
