The first thing you saw was light, a bright vivid light, as white as the whitest snow covering deep mountains. You closed your eyes and tried to open them again, slower. The place you were remaining was vaguely familiar and at the same time unknown to your human mind. You blinked, watching your surrounding, your eyes falling on the various items cast in glass cages and the huge circle window with a strange rune. You furrowed your eyebrows, realising this place was not a usual one.

« Y/N? »

You spun around, fear and panic flooding into your veins like a scared animal to be faced by strange piercing cerulean blue eyes. You furrowed our eyebrows, your heart skipping a beat while your breath got caught in your throat. You knew this man, but why could you not put a name on it? Lost in thoughts, trying to decipher your puzzled mind, the voice of the man snapped you out:

« How do you feel? »

His deep tone woke up something in your heart, butterflies flying in your belly and you tilted your head to the side, a burning question on your lips:

« Who are you? »

You saw the consequences of a bomb reflects on the man's face, pale as a white snowflake. And it hits me, like a huge tidal wave washing away the reminiscent fragments of the mystery man. His pain confused me as well as it hurt me too, but I didn't understand why.

He mumbled under his breath:

« It's probably temporary amnesia, she will remember me. »

You put a hand on his, calming his fidget state and asked:

« Do I know you? »

He nodded, intertwining his fingers with yours, a warm smile tugging on his lips.

« Yes. My name is Stephen Strange. Does that ring a bell? »

His name triggered nothing in your mind, just a name on an unfamiliar face. You shook your head and he sighed.

« It's okay, we'll figure out something for you to remember. »

He pondered for a while, unaware of his gloved thumb stroking your bare hand and you took your time to admire his features. The elfin cheekbones highlighting his creamy skin, his mesmerising azure eyes, the strange white strands hanging on his temples and the ebony hair making a quite contrast. Moreover, his clothes were made of a strange material, a red cloak laying on its shoulders like a snake would on its master. The remnants of a necklace swift softly, showing the form of a green eye in a silvery cage swinging when Stephen leant on to kiss your forehead. You blushed at his actions and looked elsewhere a bit embarrassed. You didn't know this man but you felt close to him. Were you in a relationship ? Your doubts escaped your lips before he left the room:

« Are... are we close? »

He stopped dead in his tracks, slowly turning to you, his blue tunic tightening his toned torso. He cleared his throat.

« Yes. »

« Oh my God! I got this hot man as a boyfriend ! » you thought, your eyes widening at the revelation. His eyebrows furrowed and he said:

« You seem surprised, why? »

You mumbled a few words.

« I'm, hum, shocked to have such a man like you. I mean, yes you're handsome and all but you 're way out of my league »

He smirked, pleasing feeling rolling down your spine as a familiar sensation and he left, muttering these words:

« I could say the same to you, gorgeous. »

Your cheeks reddened more and you turned your head when a bip on your left side picked your curiosity. It was a phone... your phone. You took it and unlocked it, flapping your finger on your pictures. Various photos appeared on the screen like you and Stephen kissing on your wallpaper, then the cloak taking pictures of you two training, eating, looking at each other,... wait, and sleeping. Your gaze fell on your face, your happy face with your bright eyes, your kissable smile and so on and you realised you were happy. However, when you reached the last picture of the two of you fighting a group of men in a different tunics than Stephen, something clicked in your mind. Suddenly, you dropped your phone, a flash of memories running through your mind like a comet a falling star and it left you breathless. The moment you thought the fight was over, all your opponents laying unconscious on the floor was the moment someone knocked you off on the head, a burning pain blazing in your skull while darkness wrapped you in a dark embrace. Once the shock passed and your memories in order, you grabbed your phone and dialled Stephen's number. He picked up at the second bip and he asked with his smooth voice:

« Y/N? What is it? I just left you a few minutes ago? »

You took your time to answer, your words not leaving your throat.

« Y/N? Are you alright? »

You took a deep breath and dropped:

« I remember »

Only the silence was your answer and you thought maybe something was wrong until the door suddenly was burst out open, revealing a panting Stephen rushing to you as if death had released you from its claws. You dropped your phone on the bed and jumped in his arms, feeling his wrapping you in a tight hug, almost breathing the life out of you. He peppered kiss all over your face, saying in between how much he loved you and you giggled at his antics.

« I was so scared, have you any idea what it feels to be next to you but at the same time not being next to you? »

You nodded.

« I do, Stephen. I was here during your accident and I've never left you as you did for me. I love you too. »

He smiled and gently kissed you, pressing his lips agaisnt yours.

A/N: So any thought? Was it good?
