A/N: Hello my dear readers!

Sorry for the long delay, I had troubles with my computer... but now it's all fine.

So here is a short oneshot which involves Thanos and how it could have ended. The idea of a new stone is mine.

Hope you'll like it.

---------------------------------------------------------

Take my hand, darling.

Please.

Hold onto me.

Don't stop.

So close and yet so far, you winced at the increasing pain while you watched the scene tore your heart apart. Powerless, the world you knew disappeared into ash, taking with it a part of your heart.

A silent scream broke your throat, a shattering sound piercing the hearts of the mighty warriors in the night sky of the battle. The time seemed to linger as your plea got lost in the thousands of starlights and souls vanished into thin air. No one was spare.

The dance of dust took the love of your life, and when the melody stopped, there was nothing left to cry onto. Nothing to hold onto while sobs ravaged your body into the streams of despair.

These hands held the world, keeping its balance and therefore you closed your eyes.

You may be bruised, exhausted, looking for an end, yet you were not giving up.

« It will never be enough for you, isn't it ? » you stated darkly, your aura growing in power as you gradually closed the distance. The stones shone brighlty in the Infintiy Gauntlet, telling you the spell wasn't over yet.

He didn't hear the rumble of the Earth tremble beneath his feet, neither the sudden eerie silence lngering in the air, until his hopeful eyes landed on the figure in front of him, a bright stsone glistening in her hands.

« Death and life have always been intertwined, yet untamable. That's why there is not infinity stone of life and death. However, there is something in between. »

The Mad titans 's face widened as he realised the meaning of your words. His purple lips muttering one word.

« Survival. No. »

« Your quest may be noble, it doesn't mean destroying half on the universe is the answer. If you don't believe me, use the Time Stone. »

For him.

" The price is too great, even for you, child."

A cold laugh left your lips.

" You brought this upon yourself the moment you decided to snap your fingers. You deprived thousands of people of their loved ones, of their soulmate, of their life. The price to pay is nothing now that my heart is dead."

His face cracked a spark of fear and concern as he watched you approached slowly. He raised his hands, firing the stones at you but you raised your hands as well and held up. The power was great, even greater than everything you have encountered, however, you pushed yourself beyond your limits, converging with the Stone itself and you thrived.

The blazing aura started to change and take the forms of the dying victims of the snap, forming an army of fallen soldiers behind your young form. At your sides were Doctor Strange, Peter Parker, the Guardians and so much more.

« These stones are wild primal energy. It is not something it belongs to. They're free. You caged them into this golden gauntlet and I'm asking you to relieve them of their prisons. »

A faint smile reached the titan, unfazed. His attacks started to get faster and sloppy, yet unable to put its target down.

« Child, these are legends. »

You tilted your head to the side, unleashing your power combined with the white Survival Stone.

« Thanos, legends never die »

As a blinded light overwhelmed the battle, bringing an end to the fight, two hands were able to reconnect once more, while the sun slowly started to rise on a spotless land.

Never let it go. Forever and ever.

You were right, the legend of this battle remained the greatest of history, made with heroes from all time and place fighting to survive the end of the world.

A/N: So I was inspired. It might be short but I think that's enough. Any thoughts?
