POV Alana.

School started last week and my best friend Aya is finally back from her vacation and has only gotten halfway through telling me everything that's happened. Is the story interesting? Fuck yeah it is! I'm almost half convinced she took some weird pills and dreamt this all up it's so entertaining. But I would like to be able to consult her about my relationship with Bo. She's the only one I trust when it comes to relationship advice and I need some serious advice right now.

"Remember that one guy? What's his name... uh uh." She squinted her eyes snapping her fingers as if this ridiculous act would help her recall his name faster. "Ivan!" She finally shouted. "I heard he's had his eye on you." She smirked suggestively. "Better put a leash on Bo. He won't be to happy when he catches wind of this." Aya suggested. I frowned massaging my temples. Everyone knows I'm with Bo so why is this guy openly admitting to liking me?

"Yeah I'll talk to him later." I growled. Happy with my respond Aya continued her ridiculous story's. I listened tentatively all through first period and on my way to second. Walking into class after Aya dropped me off I smiled down at Bo. I glanced at the teacher to make sure she wasn't looking before I leaned down pecking him on the lips. He smiled as I took my seat next to him class starting shortly after.

My day went off without a hitch. There was no drama aside from when Bo convinced me to leave campus for lunch. Only seniors are permitted to leave at lunch so being a junior this act was frowned upon. But how could I say no to free food and snuggling up to Bo at the lovely cafe down the road.

Aya rode the bus home with me excited to see Tilly for the first time and finally talk about what has happened between Bo and I the past few months. She listened tentatively as I vented lightly stroking Tilly as he laid by her side.

"I don't know Alana." I could tell she was about to say something I wouldn't like. "He seems like more work than he's worth ya know? I know you guys are close and have been dating for a while but is he worth it?" No question about it he was worth it. We've been together for 7 months as of this Saturday.

We continued to talk about Bo, her trip, and Tilly. We even called this super cute guy she meet. She showed me a picture they took together on the beach. Aya leaned against the shirtless man as he held up the camera his arm around her shoulders. They both smiled widely Aya's eyes hidden behind a pair of dark sun glasses. They were extremely cute. Apparently he only lives a town or two away from us which isn't that far really.

When she left late that night I sighed heavily falling onto my bed. I glanced over at the clock a smile pulling at my lips. 10:58. Any minute now.

My phone dinged right on time as usual my smile grew impossibly wider. I opened my messages a warm feeling overwhelming my chest.

Love 😘: love you too night.
