POV Alana.

We packed up the car Tilly Jr and all. It was only a four hour drive but Aya and I did take turns. Despite Bo's begging she didn't let him even glance in the direction of her baby's steering wheel. I told her she can invite Collin but I guess he has some kind of camping retreat thing he's taking the kids from the skating rink on for a few days this weekend. When we finally arrived at my house I couldn't help but notice the way Bo's eyes never left the ground or how he reluctantly scraped his feet against the sidewalk. I can understand why he's so nervous I mean as far as my family knows he's still an ass and I'm still an idiot throwing myself into his arms again. They will just have to trust me when I say he's different now. Aya knocked on the door while Bo carried our bags and I took care of Tilly Jr. my mother and brother Jaxson answered the door. My mom instantly ran to me my brother greeting Aya.

"Ahh my baby graduated college!" She squealed pulling me into an asphyxiating hug. She didn't let go until my face was beginning to go blue and I chocked out a plea for help. When she pulled away immediately she looked back at Bo. "Is that him." She whispered in my ear. "He's so tall... and kind of thin are you feeding him well?" I rolled my eyes.

"Hush don't meddle." I hissed giving her a warning glare. She continued to look at him her brows farrowed with confusion.

"Hey hon does he look famil-." My Mom began my brother shortly cutting her off.

"Bo? What the fuck are you doing here?!" I heard my brother growl his voice dripping with disdain. Panic shot through me as I noticed the aggression in my brothers walk as he approached Bo. I quickly ran over to Jaxson stepping between him and Bo. When he looked down at me the hurt that flashed in his eyes was heart breaking. "Why are you still protecting him?" My brother scolded. "After all he's done." My brothers eyes narrowed into an accusing glare as he looked past me at Bo.

"He's not the same person he used to be. He changed." I defended. He refused to look down at me as he glared threateningly at Bo. Jaxson tried to side step me in an attempt to get to Bo but I again quickly moved between them.

"Get the fuck out of my way!" He demanded.

"Jaxson." I tried to keep the panic and anger out of my voice as I fought for his attention. He tried to push past me but I pushed him back as hard as I could. "Go inside." I demanded. He needs a moment to calm the fuck down.

"Not until he-."

"Get the fuck inside!" I shouted pointing to the front door. He took a step back looking at me with hurt and disbelief in his eyes. My stomach churned and I felt tears prick my eyes as I looked down. I know he just wants to help and protect me but I just need him to listen to me right now.

"Okay." He mumbled after a moment not a single hint of aggression or loathing in his tone. Just betrayal and sadness. I heard the front door click shut behind him and I instantly spun around pulling Bo into my arms.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled into his shirt a few forbidden tears escaping. I loosely balled the sky blue fabric in my hands as his arms wrapped firmly around me.

"Don't be. It's my fault for being a prick back then." I didn't trust my voice and instead pulled him closer to me.

"Aya and I will get Tilly Jr and the bags." I heard my mothers voice confused and meek. When they walked inside with our bags and Tilly Jr Bo kissed the top of my head running his fingers through my hair. I melted into his arms relaxing as the tears finally stopped. It's going to be a long day.
