POV Alana.

Just a quick tip. If you have the opportunity to go on a double date with your best friend, her boyfriend, and yours... fucking don't! It's so awkward. Bo hasn't looked at me all night and avoided my touch like it's the plague. He used to be so comfortable around other people in high school I don't understand what happened. Maybe he just doesn't like Collin. But I don't know why they've only just meet. Aya was chatty as always Collin listening tentatively. And not one of those 'pretending to listen' bullshits where they hum and nod their head while looking through you. He was laughing with her and participating in their conversation while I picked meekly at my salad. The thing that pisses me off the most is that this salad was supposed to have avocado! But they're out...

I took a deep breath my hand sliding onto Bo's thigh. His body tensed and he sat up a bit straighter but he didn't move away or glance at me. I'm tired of this distance. I don't like how jumpy and tense he is it's making me uneasy. I gently gripped his thigh giving him a concerned look.

"You okay?" I whispered so I wouldn't interrupt Aya and Collins conversation. He glanced at me for all but two seconds before quickly looking back to his meal nodding his head.

"Yeah fine." He relaxed slightly but I could tell he was still on edge.

"Stop." I ordered scooting closer to him so that I was pressed to his side my head coming to rest on his shoulder.

"Stop what?" He looked down at me for a moment faking innocence.

"This." I used my free hand to gesture to his ridged posture. "Your so tense. Relax."

"I'm not tense." He immediately defended. I lifted my head from his shoulder shooting him a glare.

"Then kiss me." I noticed a deep blush creeping up his neck a light rose color dusting the tip of his ears and his cheeks.

"I don't see how that will prove anything." He mumbled still looking down at his lap.

"Kiss me." I challenged a smirk on my face. I could see him roll his eyes contemplating his options for a moment before he quickly turned pressing his lips to mine in a kiss that lasted a mer two seconds. I smiled victoriously before intertwining my fingers in the locks of hair at the base of his neck pulling him back down to me. His hand moved from the strict position it's been in all night on his lap to my waist

"Whoop!" I heard Aya chant. Bo and I jumped away from one another giving her a confused and frustrated glare. She looked at me a devious smirk on her lips and a knowing glint in her eyes that made my stomach churn. "My my Alana have you changed." Instantly I knew she was refusing to when I spent the night last week at Bo's house. I mustered a glare that came close to materializing daggers. She simply raised her hands in defense snickering at my reaction.

"Just eat." I scolded pointing my fork in her direction. She laughed turning back to her conversation with Collin. On the bright side Bo was back to normal despite the fact that I have no idea what was wrong with him in the first place.
