Jack's POV

At rehearsals the next day Keith our instructor was there. He's a great guy. Young but way more mature than any of us. All of us were waiting to hear if we're in the competitions or not. "Alright. Is everyone here?" He asked. We all nodded eagerly. "Alright. Soooo were in!" He said. We all got really excited. The competitions are in less than a month so we only have about 3 or 4 weeks to practice. "This is gonna be great. I hope we win this year." Sal said excitedly. "Me too. This is my first year sooo." I said shrugging my shoulders. "Dude your like one of the best dancers here. I'm sure win at least 2nd place." Jay said. "I'm hoping for 1st." Alex said. "Well no matter what place we come in were a proud group and is honored to be apart of it." Keith said. "I agree." Logan said. "Well enough delaying. I hope you guys been working on your routine." He asked. "Yeah we have." Zoey said. "Well you guys practice and I'll be back." Keith said leaving the room.

We practiced a bit more than usual today. An hour more. We all left the studio at 6pm. As I was walking home I got a call from Mark. I smiled and answered.

Hey Jack

Hi Mark. What's up?

Just wanted to call you.

Awww. So what are you doing?

Laying with Carrie

I cringed at her name

Oh. So how's your guys relationship?

Ok I guess. Why?

Just wondering

How bout you. With you and Jay?

Oh. Good.

Ok. Well I gotta go. See ya tomorrow.

Ok. Bye Mark.

I hung up and kept walking home. When I got home I went to my room. As I was getting ready for bed I thought about Mark. What am I gonna tell him about me being gone for 2 months. Our friendship just got back to normal. I still feel self conscious about my dance rehearsals. Should I tell him before or after I leave. And I'm gonna be super busy for the next 3 weeks up until I leave. I debated for about and hour until I went to bed. Keith said we have to be at the studio 2 hours early until we leave so I go to bed earlier than usual. I can't tell Mark yet. Not just yet.
