Chapter one
Kristen's POV: hi I'm Kristen. I'm 11 years old. I live in Tallahassee, Florida with my mother and her abusive boyfriend. He hates both of us. I get beaten by him everyday because of the stupidest things. I plan on running away but where would I go? I have no family around. So instead I go to my laptop. That's where I'm free. I watch Charles and Alli everyday. They are more of my parents than my mom is. When I'm down they get me up. Same with We The Kings! I love those guys. They are playing at the arena where I live tomorrow night so I'm going with my mom. The thing is that it's where her abusive boyfriend works. He will be there that night. I'm scared.

(The next day) it's concert day! I'm super excited! I put on my IKT tank top and some bleached shorts. As we were leaving for the concert I put my chucks on and ran out the door. When I got in the car we drove to the arena. George, my moms boyfriend, was already at work. I was scared and excited at the same time.

Alli's POV: "char, come on let's go!" Charles was in the green room still. Ugh he is always last minute! "Al we have five minutes chill!" "I know that's why I'm rushing you. Charles let go now!" I rushed over to him and grabbed his hand. "We have to go." He grabbed his bass and we started off towards the stage for sound check.

Charles' POV: I walked onto the stage and started playing "say you like me". After that we did the rest of the songs then took a break. "Glad you could make it Charles." I heard Danny say. "I made it because of Alli or else I would still be I there doing my hair." I say laughing.
