she quietly left the hut and took the bike, riding in her lonesome but feeling all the elements around her. she has never felt this free for the longest time, and she was making sure to get the most out of this too short of a vacation, in her paradise, her escape. she rode across the connecting bridge and looked around, inhaling the salty breeze that she has since been attuned to. she must have been a sea creature in her past life, a dolphin or a puffer fish maybe. she only knows that she needs to set foot to water and embrace its vastness.

she breathes in deeply, and smiles. her whim contented, yet her heart pines for somebody. she lifts her head to the expanse of sky above her, sending warm energies to the one who has her heart bound to his.

as she enters her hut, she hears her phone ringing. her heart sings.

"hey love!"
"hi, love."
"i miss you."

she stares lovingly at the be-dimpled face and puppy eyes looking back at her.

"i'm coming home, love."
