Rus has been grinning ever since I entered the hospital room.

His clothes and some comics as he requested.

"Save it."

My parents said they'll try to drop by tomorrow.

Rus lives alone but it wasn't always like that. His parents might've separated but he had his grandma. Unfortunately, Lola Dalia started to become senile and because no one can take care of her, she's currently in a Senior home.

"I'm sure you're going to change your mind so hear—"

"No."

"C'mon, listen."

I sighed. "Go on. Humor me."

"First of all, nagbago ba ng number si Rae?

Contact her instead," I answered automatically.

His face suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree.

"You like Rae! I can't believe I haven't noticed it earlier. You going to the basketball court to ask if I'm dropping by the studio.

"Go back to bed. Mukhang nagdidiliryo ka pa rin." I maintained my composure— one thing that's not really hard for me. Although, I'm fairly surprised he remembers that.

"Ha! Hindi mo sinagot ang tanong ko!"

"May tinanong ka ba?" balik ko.

"It's finally starting to make sense why you chose that club.

I found your I.D. in between some of your books. I thought you maybe just didn't see it when you entered school. But really—"

"Stop making up things and sleep," I interjected.

"That's how you'll respond? Alright, how about I call Rae now?"
