CHAPTER 21
PART 1
TRIS' POV:
I wake up, aching all over. Why did this have to happen to me?!
I can't see much, because my cheek is swollen.
"We're going to see Tobias again, ok?" Marcus says. I hesitantly nod. What evil thing will he do to me this time?
Marcus slaps me across the face, making my cheek feel like it's being stabbed repeatedly.
I cry.
"TRIS! Are you ok?" I hear Tobias yell. He must be on the screen.
"Tobias..." I whimper, sounding fragile, and broken down.
"This is for your own good Tobias." Marcus whispers.
I feel a whip, and a sharp pain at the same time. I scream, terror and unbearable pain filling my voice.
Marcus pulls on something, and I can hear, and feel my flesh ripping. I can feel wet, hot, thick blood dripping off of my leg, where he hit me.
I scream the loudest I've ever screamed before. (Sobbing while doing so.)
Everything goes black.
