Something crazy

Toothless was shackled tightly to a platform, a muzzle was round his head and his paws were locked down.
He growled as the rebels strengthened the straps.
The rebellion had gotten everyone together. All with weapons and the plan.
They knew now only a dragon could find the nest and they had a flightless dragon at their advantage.
"Get yourselves ready! We leaving now!" Ridgeback barked.
"Kallus. I want you to stay here and watch the others."
"Yes sir" Kallus agreed. Truthfully, he didn't want to go the nest.
Hera had forced Zeb, Sabine, Wedge, Hobbe and Ezra to stay at the base and Ezra couldn't agree more.
Hera was walking with Kanan when she saw Ezra watching them go.
She didn't feel angry about Ezra having a Night Fury, she felt fascinated and shocked. To think he'd tamed a dragon was surprising.
She looked over at Toothless to see a saddle.
'He's got guts!' She thought.
The massive group walked through the woods and out of sight.
Ezra stood in his spot for half an hour. Not mediating or relaxing, just standing absent mindedly.
He didn't even realise Sabine was next to him until she spoke.
"It's a mess. You've lost everything. Kanan, the rebellion, your best friend."
"Thank you for summing that up" Ezra told her.
"Why didn't I just kill that dragon when I found him in the woods? Would've been better for everyone" he sighed.
"Yup. The rest of us would've done it. So why didn't you?" Sabine asked.
"Why didn't you?"
"I dunno. I couldn't" Ezra sighed.
"That's not an answer."
"Why is this so important to you all of a sudden?" Ezra asked.
"Because I want to remember what you say, right now" Sabine told him.
"Oh for the love of...! I was a coward. I was weak. I wouldn't kill a dragon" Ezra told her.
"You said wouldn't that time" Sabine commented.
"Oh whatever! I wouldn't! All these months of fighting a new enemy and I'm the first person who wouldn't kill a dragon!"
Ezra turned away from her, anger and sadness finally catching up on him.
The Mandalorin looked at the Jedi then smiled.
"First to ride one though" she said.
Ezra looked up from the ground in surprise.
"So?"
"I wouldn't kill him because he looked as frightened as I was" Ezra told her, turning round.
"I looked at him. And I saw myself."
Sabine smiled at him and he returned the expression.
"Bet he's really frightened now. What are you going to do about it?"
"Eh. Probably something stupid" Ezra told her.
"Good. But you've already done that" Sabine encouraged.
"Then something crazy" Ezra realised.
Blinking a few times, he ran to the arena.
"That's more like it" Sabine smiled running after him.

I sense a plan!
