Elena's point of view:
"You." I say shocked, looking at Rose, the vampire who kidnapped me. She waves to me, smiling weakly. "She's here to tell us about the originals." Stefan tells me and I nod, still suspicious, but I follow as they all walk into the living room.
When everyone has sat down Rose takes a deep breath.
"Ok you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true that's the problem with all this vampire crap. But Klaus I know is real." she tells me. Who the hell is Klaus?
"Who is he?" I ask and Damon stands up looking at me. "He's one of the originals. He's a legend." he tells me and I nod "from the first generation of vampires." Stefan adds. "Like Elijah?" I ask and rose shakes her head
"No Elijah is the Easter bunny compared to Klaus and Emily. They're the real deal. If she had stuck around to see what happened to Elijah... we wouldn't be standing here today." She tells me and I think back to when Emily and Elijah attacked- No. They slaughtered Trevor.
"I met them 500 years ago when they were trying to break the sun and moon curse. Emily planned to turn Katarina so she would come back as a vampire after the ritual but Katarina took it into her own hands. Klaus and Emily didn't take that well- which is why Katarina has been on the run from them ever since." Rose says, her hands bouncing anxiously as she spoke.
"When Trevor and I met the originals... They could turn from calm to murderous with one wrong word. At first, they were calm and charming but after a while, they lost the act." Rose says, biting the inside of her mouth as she reminisces on an unpleasant past.
"I saw first hand their true nature, killing not just for fun but... Emily would play sick games with her victims and depending on how they played she would either turn them and they would become one of her slaves or she would bleed them dry and kill them in horrific ways that make the average homicidal vampire look like a saint." Rose says and shivers run down my spine. What happens to a person for them to turn out so evil? Toying with peoples lives like it's all a game...
Emily's POV
Ok, that's a bit harsh. People get old, tired and bored when there's no entertainment besides books, drinking, sex and murder. I'm not nearly as bad as I was back in the day now... tsk tsk, judgey vampires. I'll have to deal with her later...
Elena's POV
"From what we saw- Klaus has all the original vampires terrified of him and Emily has them all falling to her feet like guard dogs." Rose says and Stefan clears his throat.
