"Tonight's the full moon so we should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse..." I hear Elijah say and me, Erica and Sara come into the living room.
"Hey gang, this is Erica and Sara. Erica, Sara these are the idiots who I've been working with." I say with enthusiasm, sitting down on the plush couch of the Salvatore's home. Sara and Erica sit on ether side of me with my arms around their shoulders casually, hands rested on their shoulders.
"They are our back up if things go badly, they are quite experienced witches so please no one kill them" I say and Stefan cordially nods to the girls.
"Uh Elena said the sun and moon curse is fake and it's actually a curse placed on Klaus and Emily?" Stefan asks and I nod.
"Precisely. The curse has kept klaus's werwolf side from manifesting. But if he breaks it he'll be a true hybrid." I say and Stefan looks to me. "And what will you be?" he asks and I sigh leaning forward.
"A hot as fuck vampire-witch hybrid with a questionable taste in partners." I say and he nods and Elijah rolls his eyes.
"Remind me again why we are letting him break the curse? We can kill him today. With Bonnie." he says and I shake my head. "Damon we've tried you know she can't use that much power without dying" I say and he looks to me.
"I'll write her a great eulogy" he says and Erica looks to Damon. "Who are you again?" She asks and I look to her. "That's Damon he's the other brother I told you about last year, he's got big issues." I say and she nods muttering 'right'
"Alright how do we break this curse anyway?" Stefan asks bored of our talk. "Well the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The moonstone, a witch to do the spell and because witches created the spell a witch doesn't need to be sacrificed only perform the spell. Then Klaus will kill the vampire and a werewolf" Elijah says and I let out a nervous breath.
Knowing klaus he's going to chose someone close to Elena like Damon or Stefan. The werewolf could be any of the wolves that survived Elijah and I killing their pack. He'll likely be less picky in that department since werewolves are harder to find.
"So where do I fit into it?" Elena asks and Elijah stands up. "You're the final part of the ritual. Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger to the point of death" Elijah says and silence fills the room and Elena looks to Elijah hopefully. "And that's where you come in" she says and I sigh. Confidence isn't exactly pouring out of everyone is it...
"This is an elixir that I acquired for katarina some 500 years ago it possesses mystical properties of resurrection" he says confidently, at least someone is! "So I'll be dead?" Elena asks and I jump in. "And then you won't" I say smiling at her encouragingly. "That's your plan ? A magical witch potion with no expiration date? You wanna come back to life? How about johns ring?" He asks and I shake my head.
"That ring only works on humans The doppelgänger is a supernatural occurrence odds are it wouldn't work" Elijah says and Damon looks to him. "I'll take those odds over your Elixir" Damon says and I look to him. "Damon. Arguing for the sake of arguing isn't helping anyone" I say and he looks to me then to Elena . "What if it doesn't work Elena?" He asks like the world would end and I roll my eyes.
