Chapter 5

On the next morning when I left my apartment heading to school I saw the same cat still there

"Why you didn't return home you stupid cat?" does it have no owner?

I don't think so … I looked at its neck and there was a collar around it  …

Well … why would I care about a cat and its irresponsible owner anyway ?

I decided to ignore that cat but it started following me again

"STOP following me already!"

What an annoying cat!

Cats mostly get scared easily and go away … but this one is different somehow

I let it does what it wants as I continued my way to school …

At the second period the teacher entered as she gave us the result of the pop quiz we had few days ago

As expected I got the top mark in the class

In the break some girls called me … "Tanaka san wanna eat lunch with us ~ ?"

"I'm not hungry" I answered coldly

Well I'm really not hungry but more importantly I don't wanna sit with some silly girls …

I just know very well that they're trying to befriending me because I'm smart and so that they can copy my homeworkes later

I decided to go to one of my favourite places in school instead …

I took permission from the teacher then headed to the music room

Well I just feel like playing with the piano from time to time

I started playing my favourite song …

The song that my father used to play for me when I was little …

I continued playing it as I started singing with a low voice

A sound of someone's footsteps interrupted me so I stopped and looked around

"Hmm I miss listening to that song ~"

Uhh it's the same annoying blonde guy

I just hate it when someone distract me from something … especially if it was for a silly reason …

"What do you want?"

"Why did you stop?" he asked

He keeps ignoring me and avoiding my questions as always …

"Because I don't like to play infront of anyone"

He grinned "But I'm not anyone … I'm Yukimura Keita"

What's with that silly joke!?

"Oh really? and what makes you different from anyone?"

He stayed silent for few moment then said: "you'll know later ~"

How dare he stuck his tongue out at me! …… that idiot !

He left as the next class's bell rang … ugh he wasted my precious time …

I returned to my class and spent the rest of the school day normally …

On my way back I saw that guy in a hurry

I continued walking like I saw nothing at all …

Wait is that the way to my apartment?

…… It got to be my imagination …

But it really is the way to my apartment !

I went towards him and asked : "What are you doing here?"

"I'm the one who should ask that! … why are you following me? are you a stalker or something?"

Uhh he pisses me off …

"Who would stalk such an idiot!? besides stop answering my questions with other questions"

"Well I was just looking for my kitty … so when I saw her infront of the school's gate, I followed her and she leads me here"

He got to be really idiot … whose in the world refers to a cat as 'she' !?

He tried to carry it but it refused to go with him … it sticks to me instead …

"Come on let's go home" he said

It's not listening … heh it's stubborn just like its owner

"Umm do you mind if she stayed here?"

"Yes I do! … it bothers me and it doesn't stop following me everywhere"

…… "Oh come ooon" he begged …

… He tried to take it again but it just keep refusing

"Fine fine since it's a female I'll let it stay here"

"HERE!!! but … she will catch a cold!!"

"Uhhh it's just a cat you know!"

"She's not just a cat … she's my friend …"

"… OKAY I'll let it in but if it bothers me I won't hesitate to kick it out" I said letting out a sigh

"And what if I wanted to visit her?"

Heh don't ever think that I'll give you the number of my apartment …

"Obviously it'll keep following me so you can see it at school"

"Okay thanks" he said that then left

I took it to my apartment hoping that it won't cause me troubles …
