"Do you really know what you're doing? Going to a guy's room while everyone else is sleeping …"

I had a second of surprise about how he could still tease when he just woke up

"I'm here to make sure that you don't mess everything up and that my precious time and effort wouldn't be carelessly wasted by you"

I replied with a strict tone reminding him that I wouldn't have agreed to come here in the first place If it wasn't for the play Emi worked hard on

"Woo hey now! What's with morning lecture? I was just kidding you know …"

"There's no time for that …" I threw the scrip at him "Memorize it!"

"Ehh but … I didn't even have my brea---"

I cut him off "Now! You have 30 minutes to fully memorize the next ten pages"

"Maximum" I added

"You're being too strict Shirooooi! …… don't ever think about being a teacher!" He blabbered

"A minute has been already successfully wasted … keep up the good wasting Keita ~ I'll be back once it's 6:30"

With that I left his room wondering what to do with these minutes …

Obviously I can't return to my apartment unless I'm done with that 

Knowing that going downstairs and meeting his parents would be a bit awkward, I decided to return to Mio's room

I opened the door carefully as I noticed the cat on her bed

It came towards me, sat on my lap and started playing with my necklace

"You know, that necklace is the one I bought for you in our second date"

"I have the exact same one … I never take it off … because I treasure the memories of all the time I spent with you"

Just why that came to my mind all of a sudden …… ?

A moment later, I felt strange … I looked at my hand to see the cat licking it 

"Haha … hey stop that … it tickles"

I chuckled as it continued that then I rolled my eyes to Mio as I notice that she has opened an eye

"Ah … did I wake you up?"

"Shiroi?" She rubbed her eyes and looked at me

"Shirooooi! You're still heeere ~" she jumped off the bed as she fell down

I put the cat aside and went to her "You shouldn't have jumped liks that … I'm not going anywhere … I'm staying here for a while, If you don't mind"

She smiled at me "sorry, I'm just happy ~"

After a moment of silence I asked : "So Mio, how's your school?"

Remembering that Keita has mentioned thay she's nine years old, I suppose she's in grade four 

"It's fun ~ I have looots of friends and they are all so nice ~" she answered with her usual pure childish tone

"And your homeworks? Do you do them on time?"

She nodded "Mhmm ~ Mio always finish her homeworks right after returning from school ~ but yesterday's homework was hard …"

"Show it to me"

I like how she's a hardworker unlike her lazy sleepyhead brother

"Did you read the lesson?"
