Chapter 8

I woke up late today since it's still the Easter holiday …

And I slept rarely late last night …

I was so attached to the novel I bought yesterday that I didn't stop reading until I couldn't open my eyes anymore

I already finished about 130 pages

I decided to do something else today because when I enjoy something I don't want it to finish quickly …

But what should it be?

I took a shower and got dressed then got out of my apartment as I continue thinking …

As I was walking in one of the streets I saw a poster of a science fiction movie

It seems interesting … I guess I'll watch it

I headed towards the cinema and bought a ticket for it

So yeah it was good …

Heh … I just know with the first sight what movie is worth watching and what isn't

Next I decided to spend some time in the bakery

I headed there as Emi gave me some chocolate saying: "Happy Easteeeer" with the usual cheerful tone

"Happy Easter …" I said coldly as I took it

"What's with that tone!? You just got a priceless chocolate from my girlfriend you should be thankful!" Yuto said

"I told you that you shouldn't give her one" he added saying that to Emi

She replied: "Eeeeeh but she works with us … which mean she's our friend … we can't just ignore her!"  

"Whatever …" he said

I don't care about that … whether they gave me some or just ignored me it doesn't matter …

Emi got a bunny costume for both of us but this time I totally refused to wear it

I continued working till about 5 pm then I got out heading to the beach …

I sat on the warm sand enjoying the calmness and the view of the pretty sunset

Ahh … it's so peaceful … I just wanna stay here for the rest of the day

I lay down as I slowly closed my eyes

Suddenly I felt something near my face

"Whoaa!"

I opened my eyes to see that Keita staring at me only few inches away from my face

"I knew I'd find you here" he chuckled

"What do you think you were doing getting so close like that!?"

He slightly smirked "Do you think I was about to kiss you? Naaah ~ I was just making sure that you're still alive hahaha"

Ugh he pisses me off …

"Yeah … I'm alive …… just why do you keep popping up wherever I go? … what do you want? "

"It's the faaaate ~" he giggled

He completed as his tone got serious "nothing … I just wanted to check on you … how do you feel? are you better today?"

"What do you mean? as you can see … I'm fine … I'm always fine"

Actually I know what he meant but I don't want to act weak ever again …

"Don't play dump … you know that I mean about last night …"

"Didn't you hear me!? I said I'm fine"

"Great" he said

…………… I thought for a moment …

Wait … did he say 'I knew I'd find you here' earlier …… ?

What is that supposed to mean?

"Hey … what did you mean by saying 'I knew I'd find you here' ?"

"Heeh you got amazed ~ ? I'm just genius~"

Uhh I shouldn't have asked …

"Oh by the way … you forgot that last night" he said handing me my heart shaped necklace

Actually I don't remember from where I got that necklace but I believe it was important to me

I took it saying: "I would turn your life into hell if you lost it"

He laughed "Ahahaha actually YOU are the one who lost it"

He added with a gentle tone "…… I'm glad you're talking care of your things"

"Of course I am … I'm not careless like you"

He glared at me then said starting a conversation: "So … how was the novel?"

"Amazing" I replied

"I bet you were reading till you couldn't open your eyes" he slightly laughed

He sure laughs a lot …

"Well … yeah …… and there's nothing funny about that"

"So … what is it about?"

I started explaining as I noticed that he's staring at me

"What is it?" I asked

"Nothing … but I don't remember when was the last time I saw you interested in something"

"………" I stayed quiet and continued enjoying the view

"You sure like nature huh?" he asked

"Yeah … its purity makes me calm and peaceful"

"I see …" he continued watching it too then we both left as it started getting dark

Well … I dunno If it was my imagination or he was really acting weird …

But I guess it's my imagination … besides he's just always weird ……
