Josh Pieters- "Can I kiss you right now?"

You weren't really sure what tonight was. Josh had invented you to hang out with him at Brighton pier. It was going to be just you and him. Was this a date? Was it just two best friends hanging out?

You arrived at the pier entrance early and watching the waves crash against it for awhile.

"Boo!" Someone yelled and squeezed your waist making you jump.

You spun around to see Josh with a smug grin spread across his face.

"Josh!" You yelled and hit his arm lightly.

"I'm sorry it was to easy to resist." He laughed.

You rolled your eyes.

"Shall we go onto the actual pier then?" He asked.

"Yes!" You replied happily.

"Do you think you'll need a kiddies wrist band because of your height?" He teased while you were queing to go in.

"Well you might need a spiecal wristband because you're a giant" You laughed.

"How dare you!" His put his hand over his heart acting hurt.

"Oh so you can mock my height but I can't mock yours?" You laughed.

"Yes, exactly." He laughed.

Josh dragged you on a couple of rides.

"No way am I going in there!" You refused as Josh began walking towards the Haunted Hotel.

"Oh come onnnn! It will be fun" He insisted.

"No!" You said and crossed your arms over your chest.

"I'll buy you candy floss." He tried to bribe you

"Still a no" You replied.

"Okay, I'll buy you candy floss and try to win you one of those toy pandas on a game" He said.

"You will never win one" You laughed.

"Don't underestimate me. Actually no, you're right. Just come on!" He said.

"Fineeee" You agreed finally.

You clung to Josh the entire time, terrified of everything that moved. Josh seemed like he was trying really hard to pretend like nothing was scaring him at all.

"Thats was hilarious!"Josh laughed, " You looked terrified."

"I hate you" You joked.

"I so should of filmed that. Imagine how many views it would get" He teased.

You rolled your eyes.

"Well I went it, now you have to buy me candy floss and win me one of those pandas" You said.

"Try. Try to win you on of those pandas" He corrected.

You stood with your candy floss watching Josh attempted but fail to win a panda.

"Why is it so hard to knock down a couple of damn tins!" He grumbled.

This time he threw the ball very hard at the tins.

"Boom!" He exclaimed "I did it!"

"No way!" You squealed.

"Heres your price sir" Said the man running the game as he handed Josh the massive toy panda.

"It's bigger than you y/n" He laughed as he gave it to you.

Later that night you and Josh sat on the beach as the sun was setting.

"So um what was tonight?" You asked quietly.

"What do you mean?" He laughed slightly.

"This, what is it?" You repeated.

"Well I was hoping it could be a umm dat-e?" He mumbled.

You grinned.

"But if you don't want it to be thats fine" He said quietly.

"No I want it to be." You replied.

"You do?" He asked, smiling widely.

"Yes" You answered.

"So then um can I kiss you right now?" He asked and leaned in slightly.

"Thats fine by me." You whispered.

He leaned in and kissed you softly. It was a perfect sunset kiss. It was soft yet meaningful, passionate yet caring, filled with hungry yet also filled with love. It felt like we were in a romance movie. This was the happily ever after ending.
