We walked for a while until he broke the extremly awkward silence.
"So ..." he started .
" Yeah ?" I looked up at him meeting his eyes.
"Tell me about yourself ,I mean if we are to get married I figured we have to atleast know something about eachother" I nod knowing it kinda makes sense so I agreed , not really knowing where he's going with this .
"Ok ... like what ?" I asked
" Let's start at your full name" he responded.
I proudly awnserd"Tiffany Rose Ross" he snickered as I frowned at his reaction . I actually seemed to like my name I don't know what he's laughing about. That just made me dislike him even more.
"Sorry , I didn't mean ...it's a beautiful name " Slightly embaressed and kind of upset by his reaction I asked
" Well , what's your full name wise guy ?" Sass intended "Alexander Chase Tatum"
hmm... I had to admit his full name was better than mine but I think I would just keep that to myself no need for him to get a big head about it.
"Biggest dream ?" I was into deep questions so I had to ask .
"Biggest dream ? Mmm... that's a hard one . Um , I don't know actually . I've achieved so much already . I've travelled the world . Have a job that makes lots of money ,own all of my dream cars , have respect from my colleagues , So I guess my biggest dream would be having a family I guess ?"
I gushed at how cute that was . I mean the first part made him seem like some posh jerk who thinks the world resolves around them - like I made him out to be upon first impression - But then he ended it with the most cute and unguy like statement ever. I mean I'm not one to judge but who would've thought a guy's biggest dream to be a family?
And so we kept talking for hours and strangly enough I think I kind of enjoyed it . I'm still not happy about this whole "marriage" thing but hey ,he's kinda good company. I think I can atleast see myself becoming friends with him .
While we were talking my phone went off ,I got a message from my mom saying I shouldn't stay out too late she's heading home. I frowned and looked at the time.
" Oh, gosh it's almost 5 I'm sorry I got to get home " I said as I stood up , said goodbye and turned on my heel to walk away .
" Um... okay see you , here's my number" he said blushing . Why is he blushing ?"you know cause we're getting married you should at least have it "he said handing me his and I gave him mine ,as I rushed home not realizing we talked that long. Were we really talking that long? I guess time flies when your having a good time...
