Sunday 15th October 2017
Jake's Point Of View:
Erika has been acting strange lately,she always wears jumpers on the hottest days.I ask her if she's okay and she says that she's fine.Everyday she is dripping sweat but she says she isn't hot,it's actually really weird and I'm starting to get worried.
"Erika,wake up."I shake her slightly,she looks up at me
"Morning."I say before kissing her forehead
"Hi."She smiles at me,wow I've been waiting to see that smile for a while now
"That's what I like to see,that perfect little smile."I hug her,she hugs back
"Jake,I need to tell you something."She props herself up and pulls up her sleeve.
I looked down at her arm and saw cuts.
No,Not again.
I just look at her,she looks at me.She has no emotion but I could actually scream and smash a wall down,but I kept my cool.If it was anyone else apart from the love of my life,then walls would have many holes by now.
"I'm sorry."She whispered.I looked down at her arm and back up at her.
I jumped up and stormed into the bathroom,I locked the door and looked for the blade.I soon found it,I flushed it down the toilet.
"Why?"I asked sitting against the bathtub with my head in my hands
She didn't answer
"Why?!"I ask raising my voice.She backed away towards the counters.
"I-I don't know."She mumbled,I looked up at her with rage in my eyes
"Erika,Erika,Erika.Tell me Why,There is a reason."I whispered.
She rubbed her eyes and the tear on her cheek
"You promised me Erika.You promised that you would never ever do it again.I-I trusted you,but now trust has been lost."I got up and started walking away,I walked out of my room and went downstairs.
"Owen?Owen come on buddy we have to leave."I woke Owen,I grabbed his little hand and we walked to the car.He rubbed his eyes
"Where daddy?"He asked with his pacifier still in his mouth.
"Away from here.Hold on."I ran back to his room and grabbed his favorite teddy,a dark green T-Rex.
I strapped him in his car seat and shut the Tesla door.I hopped in the drivers seat and drove away from the house,away from Erika
