Gooooood morning! I'm in a good mood today because I was able to squeeze in a workout right here in my office. I tried the mini gym and it's so convenient to workout and go straight to my desk to prepare for the day.  But of course, I did not forget to prepare an update fo you all because I want you to be with me this morning as well.

It's funny how life can throw a wrench into your plans just when things are going so well. I remember myfriend once said the most dangerous moments in our lives are when thing are going so well and we become too relaxed and complacent. That is a time when we are at our most vulnerable, and  it's true. Why would you be on your guard when life is rosy? Why would you want to mar it with worries and doubts?

But just because we are at our weakest during these blissful periods, it does not necessarily mean we should be pessimistic and anticipate the worst to happen. No. It only means we  should remain close contact with God so that we are guided by his enlightenment.  We are never alone, He will always leave little clues for us to pick up on as evidence that He is watching out for us.

I have jumped from one job to another, and three of those jobs, including my present one now, are fruits of nagging thoughts in my head to pursue my applications, even if it was really difficult, even when the companies were never heard of. But all three jobs have proven to be the best oopportunities for me to grow and provide for my family. All the nagging thoughts I believe, were God's way of guiding me in the right direction.

Our couple will experience such challenges in their relationship, and the doubt is whether they are meant to be togteher or not. read on about their journey and do share what you think. When things go wrong, is it because they aren't meant to be, or is it just a matter of waiting for the right time for them? Have a great day :)

Dei was working on her laptop, furiously typing away on a story that she needed to submit this afternoon. Richard was in another class with Tom and Paddy for the next two hours, and she was glad for this respite from him so that she could finish her story.

For the past two weeks, their togetherness developed into something more than friendship, and she was just so happy to be with him. Although they never really settled the score on what they were to each other at the moment, Dei was happy with how attentive Richard was to her. Practically all his free time was spent with her, and to be honest, it was beginning to interfere with her concentration on studying.

She was distracted by all the feelings he woke up inside her, this need to be with him was so strong and unbearable, it was sheer luck that he felt the same. She was thankful that he never tried to take things to a more intimate level. She was vocal about not wanting to get too serious, and concentrating more on her academics.

As she was typing away, Raine and Shaan approached her, both dressed up for after-class dates. They both sat in front of her.

"Dei......a little fun will do you good, why don't you come with us tonight?"

"I can't. I need to finish this and submit this afternoon."

"But the deadline is a week from now. Why are you rushing to submit later?"

"Don't we have three school papers to submit next week? I want to get a head start. This is the easiest to finish so I'm submitting later."

"Lighten up, Dei. Look, we're going out later with the boys, Richard included."

Dei suddenly felt a weird feeling of foreboding. Richard didn't say anything about going out tonight. Did he intend to bring her with him or was he going with the gang alone?
