I'm here in Coffee Bean Galleria, if any of you are in the area, feel free to drop by and say 'hi' :)

I suppose I have already been forgiven for the past chapters, bati na tayo beshies ha? Let's see if you can identify with this next question of mine. Have you ever been so happy about something to the point of being so afraid you'll jinx it so you refuse to share it with anybody?

I remember when I just discovered Aldub and fell head over heels with these two, I was so happy with them that I refused to let anyone know that I was a fan for fear of being judged or ridiculed. When Aldub gave me the inspiration to write again, I never shared with my friends my clandestine relationship with Wattpad. It was my best-kept secret. But when you're happy, it's an infectious bubble that flows out of you and soon, people were noticing how I was a lot happier than I used to be, even during times we were supposedly stressed with work.

Well, I am out of the closet now, haha. In my office, everyone knows I am an Aldub fan and I don't care about being judged. Hiding made me feel like I was doing something wrong, and I know there is nothing wrong with being a fan.

Here, Dei is so careful of her renewed relationship with Richard, so much so that even her sister is not privy to their latest reunion. Is she wrong to keep it from Kat? Do you sympathize with Dei in keeping things to herself for now? Share with me what you think, ok? Hope you enjoy this chapter :)

Richard went home to his brother's place with a light heart. Seeing her again was the best thing to happen to him in the past lonely months that he was cooped up in the four corners of his room, slaving away on his laptop, finishing his novels. Although three novels were approved for publishing, there were a few tweaks, some pointers suggested by the reviewers of his book that needed his undivided attention. He was working on tight deadlines, and he needed to focus, hence the lack of time to catch up with Dei.

Several times, Kat contacted him to talk, but he kept their chats to a few minutes, begging off to get back to work. It wasn't just work really, it was also loyalty to Dei. He was feeling guilty for talking to Kat and not contacting Dei.  It was easier to talk to Kat, he could shut her off easily from his mind and easily get back to work. With Dei, it was different. Starting a conversation with her would lead to wanting more time to talk to her, missing her more. It could hamper his writing process.

Physically, she changed from the last time they were together. She was more womanly now, and her allure was heady and sweet. Thank goodness she was still the same sweet Dei inside. Maybe more business savvy, but she still responded to him, and the feelings between them still ran strong.

He was still smiling when he met his brother at the dinner table. Dominic was three years older than Richard, married with three kids. He and his wife Pam were almost done with dinner when Richard arrived.

"Ngiting wagi ha, bro."

"Just happy to see Dei again, bro. Medyo masalimuot yung past namin. I am hoping to fix everything this time."

"Enough to relocate?"

"Yes."

"Talaga?! Sounds serious."

"Tinamaan ako eh. I really love her. She doesn't know my plans yet."

"Shouldn't you discuss that with her first?"

"Yes, I intend to. I'm bringing her to Tagaytay tomorrow."

"Well, for what it's worth, it's good to know we'll be seeing more of you here."
