"Marry me?" The words echoed in my head over and over again. Marry Chase. That's what I had always wanted. So without hesitation I said it. The word that would change everything.
"Yes." I repeated it about a million other times. Chase's face broke out in the biggest smile I'd ever seen, and his eyes clouded up. Placing the ring on my finger, he stood up.
I threw my arms around his neck, since I could do that in heels. My feet left the ground as Chase swung me around with glee, laughing the whole time, my shoes falling off in the process.
Setting me back down on the ground, Chase bent me over in one of those showy movie star kisses, still laughing too. Bringing me upright again, he stepped back and made a face. 'Eh, could have been better, but I guess we can just leave it at that."
Chase ran around in a frenzy looking for my shoes and offered me his hand as I stumbled into them, he smiled the entire time.
"We should go tell our families." Chase said.
"City Hall is right over there." I said gazing across the street. Laughing, Chase kissed me again and pulled me back towards our families.
