I put my phone away and work on my paper. When I finish it the guy in front of me starts talking

"Well I don't can you help me"

"Thanks"
"So what don't you understand"
"What makes a verb different from an adverb"

"Are you being serious" he says

"Okay so what's the difference"
"Okay so a verb is just an action like run or walk and an adverb describes the action. Like fastly or slowly"
"Okay I See thank you"
"No problem" I say and he turns around
A couple minutes go by and he turns back around

"Well hi Mark" I say and he holds out his hand
"Okay then" I say shaking his hand. He gives me a paper and I read it

F- omg Why
M- well I helped him with the worksheet and wrote if I ever needed help I could text him. But I don't want to text him
F- just throw away the paper
M- but what if I need help
F- Okay how about this you give me his number and you throw away the paper. And if you need help you tell me and if I can't help I'll give you his number
M- you are the best Okay his number is 273-7347
