You were slowly starving him out, but you haven't been able to face him. You can't look him in the eyes without feeling everything his victims felt. You were both sitting by the fire drinking his bourbon trying to come up with something new, you and Stefan weren't giving up, the others are helping Bonnie try and find a spell. 'Stefan I'm not sure how much longer I can take this' you say he looks up at you and says 'Y/N don't say that, you know it's not him' he says gently as he stands up and moves next to you 'He has taken so many lives, I've seen him kill innocent children Stefan, CHILDREN!!!. They had their whole lives ahead of them and he took it away' you start to cry and he hugs you tight and kisses your head

'Look I know when Damon comes back he is going to feel everything, he will feel all the pain and suffering he has caused. He will not be able to handle it and I can't be the only one to help him. He will need you, he will listen to you more than me' you nod and hold his hand 'He loves you so much, i see it when he looks at you, he has lost so much in his life and I know it will break him if he loses you' you look him in the eyes and see he's telling the truth then an idea pops into your head 'That's it' he looks at you questionly 'Trust, trust is one of the most important thing to him, it's his weakness' Stefan nods 'So what are we going to do' you think 'It broke him when Katherine chose you over him, then when Elena chose you over him. So we make him believe I'm leaving him for you, that I never loved him, that I have given up on him' Stefan nods 'And if that doesn't work, you look at him 'If it doesn't work, we've lost him' you say. 'The only thing is he will be able to tell your lying by your heart so you will need to control your breathing' you nod and say 'Yeah but I have to say t but I'm half telling the truth' he looks at you confused ' not the us part' you say smiling then you say 'I'm going to go get changed' the you run up to change into something more suitable.
When you walk down stairs Stefan stares 'Wow you really look like her' he says 'Well thanks I always liked her style, not her so much' you changes into skin tight black jeans, cleavage baring top with a leather jacket and black leather ankle high heeled boots 'Katherine has another doppelgänger' he says jokingly, you fix your hair then you turn to him 'You ready' he says and you nod so you both head down stairs to the cell, we decided Stefan will go in first.
His POV I thought they would give up by now, I mean they think by starving me and talking to me it will magically get many humanity back. But for once I'm happy, I think i can do what ever I like feed whenever I like and not feel a thing. I heard the doors unlock and hero hair steps in 'Hello brother what have you got planned for today, force feed me vervain, stake me everywhere" i was about to go on but he interrupts me 'I'm just hear to say I'm done trying Damon. I have even trying but I can't be bothered anymore' I start laughing 'Oh brother you know damn well that's not true, you will never leave your own brother' my voice was so raspy, i was laughing 'I already have Damon' he said as he stood up and walked away. I knew he was going to come crawling back but I had a weird feeling he meant it
