I'll be there for you - Tyler

You and Tyler have been dating in secret for about a month. But now there is an added complication.

I have known Tyler my entire life, because him and my brother have been inseparable. He was over almost everyday, he was basically part of the family. I have always had a small crush on him but I never acted on it because I knew my brother would not approve. Also because I always thought he only saw me as Y/n, Matts younger sister. This was until my best friend Jeremy texted him in my phone saying I had a massive crush on him without my knowledge, then the next day when Matt asked him over for dinner he asked me out. It was safe to say I wasn't annoyed at Jer anymore.

The only people that know about us is Jeremy and Elena, whenever me and Tyler want have a weekend together they always cover for me. Another reason we were so cautious was because we remembered how he reacted when Ty was with Vicky. Because I was the youngest Matt always made sure to his friends that I was off limits. It was quite hard to hide in when we were hanging out together. We would try and steal kisses every now and then. Matt almost caught us but we managed to pass it off and me looking for something in Tyler's eye.

This past week though I have felt awful, I've woken up in the middle of the night needing to through up. Even at school I've thrown up. I looked up when my period was due and it want due for another's week so it can't be that. I have also been making me and Matt home cooked meals with fresh ingredientS so it food poisoning. Jer thought I was just catching a hug but I have no other symptoms.

Tonight I woke up again throwing up, once I had cleaned out my mouth I thought to myself what this could be. Then it clicked. My eyes started to water once I realised. I quickly went into my room and scribbled a note to Matt saying Jer needed me so that's why I'm not in my room. I left the note outside his room and I grabbed my phone and my house keys and ran. I ran as fast as I could sobbing to myself until I reached the Gilbert's. I rang the doorbell and waited a few minutes until a very tired looking Jeremy and Elena answered the door, they saw my face and let me in . Jer instantly hugged me.
"What's wrong, what happened?" He asked. I look to Elena.
"I need to stay here t tonight?" And they both nod
"Of course, you can stay in the guest room" she says and he lets me go
"Do you want a hot chocolate?" I nod, but then I get an overwhelming feeling of nausea, so I run past the, and run into the bathroom throwing up. I clean out my mouth and unlock the door so see a worried looking jer and Elena
"You ok?" He asks and I nod
"Yeah, I just felt a bit sick and I didn't want Matt to wake up from me throwing up so I came here" I say and he nods
"Jer can you go make up the bed" he nods. I wait till he is out of hearing and I turn to Elena and she says "what's really going on?". Elena is also one of my best friends so she can read me like a book
"I i I'm scared Lena" I say and she takes my hands
"What's wrong?" She says and I take a deep breath
"I t think I might be" then I see the realisation in her eyes
"Are you sure?" She says and I nod.
"I'm not due my period for another week, I haven't had anything to eat that would make me ill and I have no other illness symptoms" she nods
"How long have you been sick?"
"A week" I say and she sighs
"Did Tyler not have protection?" She asks
"He did!" I say and she nods
"Ok, I am going to run to the store and get a test ok?. Tell Jer that I will be back" I nod and she gives me a quick hug and runs out. Jer comes downstairs again
"Your rooms ready... Where's Lena." He asks
"She is running to the store to get me something" I say and he nods
"What do you need this late?" He asks and my eyes water
"A p pregnancy test?" I say and his eyes widen.
"A What?" He says
"Jer please" he starts pacing
"Tyler knocked you up? I'm gonna kill him, matts gonna kill him" I run to him and grab his arms
"Jeremy calm down. I might not be! Please just calm down ok. I shitting it enough" I say and he sees my face and sighs.
"Ok I'm sorry" he says and he sit in the sofa for a while.

Our silence was interrupted by the door Elena walks in and she hands me the test. I smile and them both then head to the bath room. I sit there for what feels like and eternity until the time in my phones stops. I take a deep and pick up the test, I look at the window and I drop it to the ground and sit there in shock. After a further couple of minutes i put it in the bin and unlock the door. I walk back into the living room and they both stand up.
"Positive" is all I say.
