His POV
I watched Y/n walk into the kitchen in my brothers shirt, I was trying not to loose it but it was so hard not to rip Elijah into shreds
"Brother? Care to explain?" I say through gritted teeth
"Niklaus you know there is nothing to explain. You and Y/n stopped dating, if I may be so bold in saying the truth that you were the one cheating in the relationship. To state the obvious what she does is none of your business and I am your elder brother the fact is what I do in my personal life is none of your concern" he says crossing his arms
"It is my concern when you sleep with my girlfriend brother!" I say and he laughs
"You broke up months ago Niklaus, your "girlfriend" is now Caroline Forbes. Y/n is allowed to see whoever she wants" he says walking forwards.
"I still love her!" I shout and at and he shoves me against the wall
"If you did brother you wouldn't have done the unforgivable! You are just jealous that I am going to treat her like a proper gentlemen and you lost your chance!" He shouts. I am about to loose it
"I AM WARNING-"
"YOU" He shouts shoving me back "brother I am only going to say this once. You leave her alone, otherwise I will have no option but to turn my humanity off and then we'll see what happens" Elijah says right in my face then he walks away into the kitchen. I am fuming but all I do is speed out the compound not caring where I end up

Your POV
I tried to distract myself by making a coffee but once it's made all I do is pace up and down the kitchen. I really want to know what they are talking about, that is the only reason why I would want to be a vampire so I could eavesdrop. Every so often I would here some shouting but then it would stop. I am about to go through when I here footsteps and Elijah steps into the kitchen
"I must apologise for my brothers behaviour y/n he was completely out of order" I walk up to him and take his hands
"Don't apologise on his behalf, that's not your job to clean up his mess" you say giving him a peck
"Are you ok? He asks and you nod
"Yes, now that you are here" I say smiling cheesily and he laughs "What did you tell him?" I ask and he walks over to the coffee machine
"I just told him to stay away from you and if he doesn't oblige there will be consequences" he says turning to you taking a sip and you walk towards him wrapping your arms around his waist
"My knight in shining armour" and he sets his cup down and wraps his arms around your shoulders
"For you? Always" he says and you lean in and you share a slow passionate kiss. You loose track of time until you here the voice of Kol
"Wow yet another of Niks' left overs Lijah?" You pull apart and you give Kol the finger
"I'll have you know I am a women and I am defined and not to be known by any man" you says and he laughs
"Point taken" Kol says as Bekah walks over to you
"So when did this start?" She asks you as she puts an arm around you
"None of your concern Rebekah" he says and she looks over to him
"Well considering she is in your shirt in our living room and we are best friends I would say it is my duty to know" she says and you laugh
"You guys are the best" you say hugging her, sending Elijah a wink.
"How did our dear brother take it?" Kol says and you give him a look
"As Niklaus does, he is probably off terrorising some innocent family" Elijah says. After he says that there a moment of silence.
"Come on Kol lets go track the monster down" Bekah says walking away and Kol groans whilst following leaving you and Elijah in the kitchen.

You both go up to Elijahs bedroom to get ready for the day
"Do you think he'll ever be ok with us?" You say as you are checking your outfit in the mirror
"I don't know love" he says sitting in the bed
"That won't stop us though, right" you say looking at him in the mirror. He looks at you then walk over to you, gently turning you round so you are facing him
"Nothing will stop me from being with you" and you smile.
"Let's go out for breakfast" you say walking down the stairs taking his hand.
