They host a ball and Nik makes sure people know who your boyfriend is, but it takes a turn

Me and Bekah had just been out all day having a girls shopping day whilst the brothers are dealing with whatever bloody business they have to attend. We walk to the fire and throw our numerous bags down and I collapse in the sofa
"Drink?" Bekah says
"Please and no rocks" I say and she laughs
"Oh god yes" she says as she walks over hands me her and sits next to me. "I swear if my brothers come back all covered in blood and ruin the floors I will dagger them all" she says and I clink my glass
"Amen" I pause for a moment then ask "any news on the whole Salvatore fued, any reconciliation in the works" I say praying and she laughs
"They still hate us Nik still hates them and quite frankly I could not give less of a Fuck". I nudge her slightly
"Your brother is quite something" I say and she looks over to me
"Yeah but you some how tame him and I have no idea why. But I am grateful for my brothers infatuation with you because otherwise we would not have become best friends" she says and I clink her glass again
"To your annoying brother?" I say questionably and she reluctantly clinks our glasses.

We were busy talking about something else when the boys burst through the door and Elijah looked exhausted so he collapsed on a chair beside the sofa, Kol came and sat next to me and Nik was getting a drink looking very smug
"It went well then?" Bekah says not really wanting to know the answer
"Yes,  very well do well in fact dear sister we are going to have a ball to celebrate" he says and me and Bekah groan
"What the mater with you?" Kol says
"We have just been shopping all day could you have not texted us?" I say and Elijah says
"Niklaus felt this news ought to be in person" he then stands up "I have a headache I am going to lie down and to not want to be disturbed, Niklaus" he says walking away. Kol leans into me
"Whatcha buy, lingerie?" He says and I shove him
"No" I say looking at nik but he turns away for a moment then I turn back to Kol and mouth yes for your eyes only and he leans back smiling.
"Please tell me you didn't kill anyone" I say and Nik says
"Of course not love" me and Bekah give him a look then he says
"Fine one person but he was getting on my nerves" I throw back my whiskey and Bekah stand up and holds a hand out to me
"Come on we need to go get dresses" I groan taking her hand.

I pick up my bag and go over to Nik and give him a quick kiss goodbye
"See you later" I say but he replies
"Oh I'm coming with you" me and a Bekah both turn looking him confused, she says
"Why you have plenty of suits" and he smiles and replies
"I need to approve what y/n is wearing" me and Bekah both take a step back our mouths slightly open
"I'm sorry what?" I say
"I need to make sure what you are wearing is acceptable" he says and I look at Bekah
"No" I say not believing what I am hearing
"What?" He replies. I walk forward angrily
"Are you serious? This is not the 18th century I do not need your approval for anything" I say and Kol stands up
"Good luck" he says to Nik patting him in the shoulder
"Nik she is a women and can decide to wear what SHE wants you utter prick" she says he looks taken a back
"Love its just I don't want you to be wearing anything to suggestive and I know what will look good" he says.
"I think you need another shovel for the incredibly big whole you are digging for yourself" she says then I say
"I can decide that for my self and I could not give less of a fuck about your opinion. It's my fucking life I am not one of your toys" I turn round and me and Bekah leave the mansion not really knowing what to think of what just happened.

Me and Bekah head to one of the most expensive dress shops, which she compelled for us to have the whole shop to ourselves, and she has picked out a dress and is looking for ones for me whilst I am in the dressing room.
"I cannot believe your bastard of a brother" I say and I look in the mirror at the dress
" I know he was an incompetent arsewhole but I didn't realise think he would stoop that low" she says and I smirk at my reflection then I pull back the curtain and walk out to show her. "I mean it was just unca-" she stops talking when she turns around and sees me
"Well?" I say smirking
"Oh my god! Yes!" She says chucking all the ones she picked on the ground.
