Sleepy bye - Kol

You have just had your first child and you are exhausted (in this vampires can procreate also slightly inspired by friends. Did you know i like friends?. You are human)

You had given birth to you and Kols first child six days ago and it was safe to say you were exhausted. It was a really long birth, there was a big complication that your baby was facing the wrong way and because of exhaustion they had to give you a c-section. And you brought in a beautiful boy into the world. Harry James y/l/n. He took your last name because Kol wanted him to have it because you meant so much to him. So you had to stay in the hospital for an extra day so they could check on your stitches. Kol was there the whole time making sure you and the baby was ok. He was a Saint throughout this whole experience.

You and Kol weren't married, you were not even engaged you have been together for about a year then you got pregnant and that has been your top priority since. You were nervous to tell him because you were not sure how he was going to ret but he was overjoyed. He hugged you so tight and vowed to protect both of your lives until he died.

So you have been home for three days and have not had a wink of sleep because he kept crying he was either hungry or needed his nappy changed. Or he was just crying for the sake of it. after the second day you just stopped trying to sleep and just stayed up in the lounge of the compound just waiting for his cries to ring through the baby monitor. Kol would offer to get up but you told him not to because he had to take care of a lot of supernatural business and you were just stubborn.

Today

You were sitting in the lounge cradling your week old son with Elijah and Nik.
"Sorry if all of the crying has been bothering you" you say and they shake your heads
"Of course not love. Hope was like this when she was his age" Nik says rubbing your shoulders. And you smile and Elijah nods
"When was the last time you rested" he asks and you laugh
"I have been up for 72 hours" you say rubbing your face. Then Harry moves suddenly and hits your stitches causing you to hiss.
"What's wrong" they both pounce and you shake your head
"It's ok he just knocked my stitches. I'll just go check on them" you say as you hand him over to Elijah. You stand up slowly because you were still in a lot of pain. Then you moved to the bathroom. You lifted your top to check on them and you saw it was bleeding a little So you got a sanitary wipe and dabbed it so you were cleaning . Then you heard Harry start to cry so you ran through ignoring the pain and you saw Elijah trying to make him stop
"I think he is hungry. We will give you some privacy" he says as he hands him to you. So you sit down and feed him

Once he was fed he yawned making you laugh
"Aw are you tired?' You say in a baby voice. Then you gently start to rock him singing to him as he fell asleep. One he was down you started to yawn
"Maybe I will rest my eyes. Just for a minute" you say as you move further into the sofa and you rest your head on the cushion closing your eyes

His POV
I camp looking forward to see my gorgeous girlfriend and my handsome little bow. I open the door and am about to shout when I hear Harry make a noise to I head into the lounge and i see Harry sitting in Y/ns lap and he is looking at her. I wonder why then I see she is sleeping. Which causes me to smile, she is finally sleeping so I pick up Harry and take him in my arms
"Let's let your mummy sleep huh? She is very tired" he says kissing him on the head. When he walks into the kitchen he sees Elijah and Nik talking
"Y/n is finally sleeping so try not to disturb her." I say and they nod. I start to smell something "I think he needs a change. While I am doing that an someone put a blanket on her". I ask and Nik nods
"On it" he says. Then I spend the whole day looking fatter my son and making sure Y/n is sleeping because she needs it.
