Stressed was an understatement. We leave in three days for Spring Training and I've been going nonstop to finish things up at work and pack up everything for everyone.

"Meredith!" I call from my office.

"Yes." She beams walking in.

"Can you pretty please take these to my dad and tell him I need them sent IMMEDIATELY to the client." I beg holding out a file.

"Yea of course. Hey are you ok? No offense but you kinda look like a mess." I chuckle at her comment but nod.

"I'm fine. I'm just stressed trying to get this all done before I leave. Speaking of, when are you coming down and for how long?" I ask putting my pen down.

"I'm coming down March 19-23 to stay with Luke but I couldn't take that much time off." She frowns. "But at least I'm getting to see him."

"Well we'll definitely do something while you're down. Maybe dinner or beach day." I offer.

"Yes your girl needs a tan anyways." She chuckles looking at her arms. "But I'm gonna go get these to your dad real quick." With that she walked out.

Returning my focus back to my screen I begin going over my client list and dividing out who is going where. My Atlanta falcons account I'm only trusting to Meredith but my other clients are getting spilt throughout the company.

In these past two years I've really made a name for myself in this industry and I'm extremely proud of it. I've been working so hard at it and it's great to see my numbers reflecting that.

No problem babe, you just focus on work

With that weight now off my shoulders I didn't have to worry about leaving early to go to the store. Three client calls later my dad was roaming in with a smile on his face.

"How's it going slugger?" He asks sitting in the leather chair across from me.

"It's going. I'm trying to get all my clients handled before I leave." I breath running a hand through my hair.

"Well look I've got an idea. Why don't you actually leave work on time today and not late like you have been for the past week." He looks at me sarcastically. For the last week instead of leaving at 5 I've been leaving the office closer to 7.

"I would love to but I have way to much to get done." I gesture to all the papers scatter across my desk.

"No, you have a lot you THINK you have to get done. All of this is stuff other people can handle. That's why we have people under us Taegan." My Dad is a firm believer in not over working yourself and he's been telling me for weeks that I am.

"If you want something done right you've got to do it yourself." I mumble scribbling down some notes on a client for Meredith.

When the pen is snatched from my hand I look up at my father in shock. "Taegan Annabelle Zaiser go home."

"I will..... as soon as I get all these notes written." I say lunging for the pen. When he retracts his hand farther from me I roll my eyes before opening my drawer and pulling another out.

"Taegan if you don't leave this office right now I'm firing you." He threatened. I dropped my pen and stared at him in disbelief .

"You wouldn't." I challenge squinting at him.

"Sweet heart I've done it before." Once when I was 16 I was working as his assistant to get money for a beach trip I wanted to go on. I didn't get home till 12 am one night because I was trying to get everything filed and then did the same thing the next night. He ended up firing me because he said he would rather me live my life then become obsessed with work.

"Go. Home." He emphasized making me roll my eyes.

"Fine." I cave knowing what he was capable of. "But when all this isn't done before I leave don't be mad at me." I sass closing my laptop and shoving it into my bag.

"Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow." He waves before walking out.

Gathering my things I slip on my coat before making my way out to my car. I send Dansby a text letting him know I was headed home. It was close to 4:30 so I really wasn't even leaving that early.

Pulling up to the house I see Megan arriving home as well. "Well I'll be damned you're actually home before 7 this week." She teases.

"Shut up. I'm just trying to get my stuff together before I leave." I yell across the street.

"I'm not the one working myself to death." She sings walking into their house. I don't see why everyone thinks I'm over working.

Shaking it off I turn the key to the house and immediately am greeted by our pups. "Hey guys." I coo bending down and petting them. "Dans? Kinsley?" I call noticing how silent it is.

When I hear giggles from the living I follow them. I stop in amazement at what I see. With Dansby I swear sometimes it's like have two children. "What in the world." I laugh placing a hand on my hip as my eyes scan over the huge blanket fort taking over my living room.

"Mommy! Daddy build this!" Kinsley grins excitedly as she hurries out and hugs my leg.

"Dansby what the heck." I couldn't help but shake my head in amusement.

"Why don't you come join us?" He asks patting the spot next to him.

I shake my head as Kinsley falls back into the fort. "Maybe in a bit, I need to go over some files." I say putting my bag down.

Dansby's hands reach out covering Kinsley's ears making her giggle. "Taegan, get your cute little ass in this blanket fort." I couldn't help but giving in. Crawling in my head finds Dansby's chest as Kinsley rest her head on my stomach. "See isn't this nice?"

"It is." I nod. "Hey I love you Kins." I say running a hand through her hair.

"Love you Mommy." She repeats as she plays with her stuff animal.

"And I love you Dans." I say leaning my head up.

Dansby leans down pressing his lips to mine. "I love you too pretty girl." I lean up again receiving another kiss.

"Daddy can you read?" Dansby turns his attention to Kinsley who is holding a book to him.

"Why doesn't mommy read it while I go cook?" Dansby offers leaning up a bit.

"Otay. Mommy?" I smile taking the book from her and pulling her into my lap.

"Once upon at time in a land far far away, lived a beautiful princess." I began as Dansby slide out from behind me.

Days like these are the ones I am so thankful for. Time with my baby girl before she grows up and getting loved on by my husband. Hey we may not have it all figured out but we're doing pretty dang well if you ask me.
