- Alexander, are you sure that you're not hungry? Magnus asked after my stomach growled for what felt like the millionth time in only 5 minutes
- Positive, I answered
In fact, I'm actually starving but since I have missed the comfort of my boyfriend more than I would like to admit to anyone, food can wait.
- Whatever you say, Lightwood
Magnus placed a light kiss on my forehead that brought a hundred of butterflies to my growling stomach. As a response to his actions, I snuggled closer to his body and felt how his grip around me got tighter.
- I love you so much, I whispered
- I love you too, Alexander. I know that I don't say it enough, but you're the best thing that happened to me, Magnus whispered back and I could spot a faint smile on his pink lips
- Mags, do you think we would be together if everting that happened between us in third grade didn't happen? I asked after a while and turned my attention towards the most beautiful man in the universe
- Actually, I'm not sure. I have thought about it a couple of times, but I don't know, Magnus answered
- This is going to sound terrible, but sometimes I'm actually very happy that Camille cheated on you, I said and felt how I turned into a tomato
- Why is that? Magnus asked and dragged his hand through my hair
- We all know that you still would be together with her if she didn't cheat on you, don't even try to deny it
- Maybe you're right, but I'm actually also glad that she cheated on me. My relationship with Camille was toxic and sooner or later, it would have killed me, Magnus said
- I want you to know that I would never cheat on you, Mags. People like you deserves nothing more than love and happiness, I answered

Magnus looked at me with so much adoration in his eyes that I couldn't help myself but kiss his on the lips.
- What was that for? He asked and chuckled when our lips separated
- I love you
- I love you too, Magnus answered
We kissed once again but when my stomach started growling again, signalling that I was starving, Mags decided that it was time for food. The two of us got dressed in some other clothes and when we were done, we walked down the stairs together and continued into the kitchen. Izzy was sitting around the dinner table with her phone in her hands. Her long raven black hair was thrown over her shoulders and her beautiful face was completely free from any kind of makeup.
- Wow, I'm impressed. I thought the two of you would stay in bed all day, Izzy said and looked at the two of us
- We would if Alexander's stomach didn't start craving food, Magnus said and let out a quiet little chuckle
I rolled my eyes dramatically and quickly walked up to the oven where a frying pan with bacon stood ready.
- Did you make these? I asked and turned my attention towards Izzy
- No, don't worry. They're eatable. Mother actually made them earlier today when we all ate breakfast
- Good, I answered
I prepared two plates for me and Magnus and when I was done, we joined Izzy around the table and started eating. My stomach felt immediately better and when I had finished all the food, I felt like a normal functioning person again.
- It's nice to have you back in New York, Izzy said happily and turned her attention towards Magnus
- You're too sweet, Isabelle. Thank you so much, Magnus answered
- What are you going to do now? I heard that Meliorn has taken your position as the captain of the soccer team. Doesn't that brother you?
Izzy's question made me also turn my attention towards Magnus. I thought that he would have a sad expression on his face, but he looked like he actually really didn't care.
- I thought it would, but now I'm not sure anymore, Magnus answered
- I hate that guy so much, I muttered before I realised what I actually said
- Why? Magnus asked and laughed
- He's a douche
- Wasn't I also I douche before?
- Yeah, but that was before we started dating and all, I answered
- Wait, was I still a douche when we became friends? Magnus asked and looked at me with a raised eyebrow
- Maybe, I answered and smirked
- You're such an ass, Alexander
- You love this ass, I said and couldn't help myself but laugh
- Definitely, Magnus answered
- Guys, I'm still here, Izzy said which made me blush hysterically
- Right, I whispered
Before everything got even more awkward that it already was, I stood up from the chair I was sitting on and started to clean our dishes. Instead of helping me, Magnus stayed in his chair and continued talking to Izzy. I wasn't mad though because honestly, I was really happy that he got along with one of the most important persons in my life.
- Alec, can you pretty please help me with a thing in the living room?
My mother's voice broke me out of my trance and made me realise that I had been staring at Magnus and Izzy for a very long time. I left them alone in the kitchen and walked into the living room where my mother stood in the middle of the room.
- What is it? I asked
- Can you help me move the couch? I dropped my phone on the other side, she answered and let out a sigh
- Of course
I helped her move the couch that stood against the wall and when I could spot her phone on the other side, I picked it up and gave it to her.
- Thank you, Alec
- No worries, I answered and smiled
I was just about to walk back into the kitchen when I could hear how Magnus and Izzy talked.
- You really love him, don't you?
Izzy's voice was filled with love and I could practically see the beautiful smile on her face that I love
- More than anything, Mags said
His answer brought butterflies to my stomach and I couldn't stop smiling.
- I'm really glad that he has you, especially now after Max's death, Izzy continued with a sad voice
- I was alone when my mother died, I'm not going to let him go through the same hell as I did, Magnus said
I decided that I had ear dropped enough for one day so I took a deep breath and walked into the kitchen.
- There you are, Magnus said and flashed me a beautiful smile
- What did mother want? Izzy asked
- She accidentally dropped her phone behind the couch so she needed my help to move it, I said
- I'm lucky to have such a strong boyfriend, Magnus said and winked
- Shut up, I answered and chuckled
The two of us left the kitchen after a while and returned back to my room where we laid down beside each other on my very comfortable bed.
- What do you want to do now? I asked and cuddled closer to Magnus
- It doesn't matter as long as I am close enough to you, he answered
- Magnus, I stuttered and felt how my face turned into a tomato again
- What? It's true
I let out a quiet chuckle and tried to hide my blushing face in his neck.
- Magnus, do you think it's weird that we haven't had sex yet? I asked quietly after a while of silence
- No, why would I do that?
- I don't know. You probably had sex a lot earlier with Camille, I said and felt how I wanted to disappear
- Alexander, are you really worried that I'll leave you because we haven't had sex yet? Magnus asked chocked
- Mhm, I whispered
- I would never leave you because of something as stupid as that. I'll wait for you until you're ready and if it takes ten years, then so be it
- Do you really mean that? I asked
- Of course, Magnus answered
- Thank you
I pressed a kiss against his cheek and felt how I gained confidence.
- I'm not ready yet, but I can promise that you won't have to wait for ten years, I said and chuckled
- Good, Magnus answered
