"Okay let's not panic." Shiro said. "Not panic, the weird purple alien guy has his ship heading towards us, we only have six lions-" Hunk said. "Technically only 4 lions." Pidge added. "Four working lions and a castle that is 10,000 years old." Hunk continued. "Actually it's 10,600 years old." Coran added. "See now is a perfect time to panic!" Hunk said. "Wait, there's a particle barrier that we can activate." Allura said. "Girl you already activated my particle barrier." Lance flirted. "Lance." Shiro scolded. "But the particle barrier won't hold back Sendak's ship for long." Coran said. "Well then we'll just figure out a plan, and fast." I said. "I say that we pop into a wormhole and live to fight another day!" Lance said. "Yeah I mean our best chance is Voltron, but we can't form it yet so the best we can do is to use our lions to make a snake, so we can just slither into a wormhole." Hunk said. "Then it's decided, Allura you ride with me, and one of you take the old guy." Lance said. "Lance usually I'm on your side, but we can't just leave Arus, they'll just destroy this planet and chase us down." I said. "Plus we need to get the red lion in order to get the black lion." Allura said. "(Y/n) and Allura are right, we can't abandon this planet." Keith said. "Here's an option, shut your quiznack." Lance said. "I don't think you're using that word correctly." Keith growled. "We're staying!" Keith yelled. "Leaving!" Lance yelled. "Staying!" Yelled Pidge. "SNAKE!" Hunk yelled. "CANSARÍAN, USTEDES ESTÁN ACTUANDO COMO NIÑOS, JESÚS FOLLANDO A CRISTO!" I yelled. (Translation: WOULD YOU SHUT UP, YOU GUYS ARE ACTING LIKE CHILDREN, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST) They all scowled at each other and went separate ways. "Guys enough, Allura these are your lions, you've handled the galra empire before, what should we do." Shiro asked. "I-I don't know." Allura stuttered. "Maybe your father can help." Coran said. "My father?" Allura asked. They walked out and Lance walked over to me and pinched my arm. "¿Qué demonios fue eso por Lance?" I asked. (Translation: what the fuck was that for?) "Eso es por maldecirnos." Lance said. (Translation: that's for cursing at us) I hummed then smirked. "まあ、もし私が別の言語で呪われたら、あなたはそれを知らないでしょう." I said.(Translation: Well if I cursed in a different language you wouldn't know so, fuck you {Also yes the reader is bilingual}) Shiro looked at me in confusion and said, "Why are you cursing?" I groaned as Lance laughed  at me. Allura walked into the room with a new outfit on and I straightened my posture. "You six paladins were brought here for a reason, The voltron lions must be piloted by you and you alone, we must fight and keep fighting until we defeat Zarkon, it is our destiny voltron is the universe's only hope, we're the universe's only hope." Allura said. "We're with you princess." Shiro said.
Time skip
We were in a room with six different armor. "Your suits of armor." Allura said. I looked at my armor in awe. 'At least the last paladin was a girl' "Okay guys, and girl, let's suit up." Shiro said. I slid on my armor over my outfit with ease. The chest plate was a little too loose but it shrank a bit to a more comfortable size. We then walked to the white table Allura and Coran were standing behind. "The Bayard is the traditional weapon of the paladins, it takes a distinct shape for each paladin, forming a weapon that compliments each paladin's fighting style." Allura said. I grabbed my Bayard and it turned into a blaster simular to Peter Quill's blaster. (Just imagine it white and teal)

Time skip
"You'll need to retrieve the red lion from Sendak." Allura said.  "How are we gonna do that?" Keith asked. "It's not a matter of we but it's a matter of you." I said. "(Y/n) is right, once you get in there you'll be able to feel it's presence and track it down." Hunk said. "Yeah, you know how you felt that crazy energy back at the desert?" Lance asked. "Yeah you made fun of me cause of that." Keith said. "And I'm proud of that, it's kinda like that mumbo jumbo." Lance said. "Keith, remember that the red lion is temperamental, so you'll have to earn its trust." Allura said. "Alright here's our plan of attack, the Empire knows we have the blue and yellow lion but they don't know about the green and teal lion, Hunk and Lance will act as the decoy by pretending to give yourselves up, as Keith, (Y/n), Pidge, and I will sneak into the ship with the green and teal lions, Keith, (y/n), and I will look for the red lion while Pidge guards our exit." Shiro explained. Pidge cut a whole in the ship and we all climbed in. I heard Shiro panting and I looked at him worried. "I've been here before," Shiro said, "After the galra cruiser captured us they brought us here." "So that means that the other crew members are here, we've gotta find them!" Pidge said. "Pidge we don't have time, we need to get the red lion and get back to Arus." Keith said. "NO, commander Holt is my father, he and my brother went on the Keberos mission." Pidge yelled. "Commander Holt is your father?" Shiro said shocked. "Yes and I'm not gonna stop searching for him when I'm this close." Pidge said. "I'm coming with you." Shiro said. "Shiro." Keith whispered. "I remember where the prisoners are, Keith, (Y/n) go find the red lion." Shiro said. Soldiers shot at us and we ran off.
Time skip
After a few minutes of running around in circles Keith growled in frustration. "Keith remember patience yields focus." I said. He closed his eyes and focused. 'He looks cute when he's calm' He opened his eyes and smirked, "Got ya." He grabbed my hand and we ran off into another direction. We ran into a red room and saw that red lion. Keith let go of my hand and went up to the red lion. "Cmon open up, it's me Keith, you paladin, I am you paladin, we're connected come on!" Keith said. Soldiers started shooting at us and I put my shield up. "I'll handle the fighting, you focus on the red lion." I said. I got Bayard out and started shooting at them. "(Y/n) activate your oxygen tank!" Keith said. I did exactly as he said. I got closer to him and he grabbed my hand, then he opened the airlock. The suction was too strong and it pulled me and Keith as well. I was floatingin space until my lion picked me up. I sat down in my seat and saw the red lion.
Time skip
We all sat in our lions as we waited for the black lion to come out. The huge doors opened and we saw the black lion in all of its glory. "Paladins, Sendak's ship is entering the atmosphere!" Allura said. We all flew out and saw the main cruiser along with fighter jets attacking the castle.
"This looks bad, but we can do this, are you with me?" Shiro asked. I nodded my head in determination. "I'm nodding my head, is everyone nodding?" Hunk asked. "Yes." We all groaned. We flew out into the battle field. "OK but how do we form Voltron, I don't see a form giant robot button on my dashboard." Hunk asked. "Can they just cease fire for one second, is that too much to ask!" Pidge said while she destroyed two fighter jets. "We gotta do something." I said. Hunk's lion hit me and he said, "Combine!" "Agh, HEY I'M NOT EVEN APART OF VOLTRON." I said. "Well that didn't work." Hunk said. "I'm gonna cover you guys, just think of something fast!" I said. I continued to demolish the fighter jets until I noticed the lions flying up. I looked further up and saw a light pulling them in. I quickly went up and tried to attack the beam but it was shielded.
"No, we can do this, we are the universe's only hope, if we work together we'll win together!" Shiro said. "Yeah!" The rest cheered. I defended the lions as they formed the huge robot, Voltron. "Amazing." "We formed Voltron!" "How are we doing this?" "I'M A LEG!" I laughed at Hunk's remark. Voltron took down the ion cannon and flew proudly through the atmosphere. 'They did it, and they didn't need me'
Time skip
"You did it, you formed Voltron!" Allura said as she ran towards us. "Heck yeah we did." Keith said. We all took off our helmets and held them. "How did we do it?" Shiro asked. "I was just screaming my head off, did that help?" Hunk asked. Pidge looked depressed and I put my hand on her shoulder. (Now you know) "Don't worry, we'll get you father and brother back." I said. "This war has just begun, Zarkon will not stop until the lions are in his possession." Allura said. "Good thing you paladins know what you're doing, cause you'll have to form Voltron again and again." Coran said. "We barely survived forming Voltron once." Lance said. "And you only fought one ship, wait until you have to fight a whole fleet of them, it's not gonna be easy being defenders of the universe." Coran said. "Defenders of the Universe, that's gotta a nice ring to it." Shiro said as we looked up to our lions.
