Girls Night I Guess

(Y/n)'s POV
  I was in my room listening to music once again, I was still processing the crazy shit that happened this morning. I was humming along to Mr.Bluesky when I heard someone knock in my door.
  "Come in." I said as I paused my music. I expected it to be Keith, but it was only Pidge. "Oh, Hey Pidge." I said as I put away my player. "Hey (Y/n), I was wondering if you could help me test out some equipment I made." Pidge said.
  "I'm down, I don't have much to do." I said. Pidge grinned and fixed her glasses, "Perfect, come with me." We left the room to the green lion's hangar.

  When we walked in I saw Allura there. "Hey Allura, you doing good?" I asked her. "I'm Alright, thanks for asking (Y/n)." Allura said. Pidge went up to her laptop and typed in a few things.
  "Alright, so I need (Y/n) to put this on her head." Pidge said as she had one of those headbands from their old training session. "So what exactly are you gonna do with this?" I asked as I put it on my head.
  "Pidge told me that she's gonna see if the headbands can show a memory on command." Allura said. Allura and Pidge grinned and looked at each other.
'Oh shit, bad idea.' I thought. "Why is there something you don't want to tell us?" Pidge asked.
  "What, no no nono, there's nothing at all, nada, zilch, none!" I said with my eyes wide. Pidge and Allura laughed at my reaction. "Okay, now I can see how you and Lance are related." Allura said. "Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "Oh nothing!" Allura said quickly.  "Okay so we're gonna say a word, the screen in front of you should have a memory related to that word." Pidge explained. "Okay got it." I said. Pidge and Allura sat on some chair that were in front of me.
  "For now, let's try... goofball." Pidge said. I focused on the word, and on my screen appeared Lance. Allura tried to stifle a laugh. "Okay, how about leadership." Allura said. I focused again and on the screen popped up Shiro and Allura.
   "Loveable." Pidge said. I closed my eyes trying to calm myself as Hunk and Keith showed up. I opened my eyes and saw both of them with a grin. "Okay, family." Allura said. A picture of my family and team voltron showed up.
  They both smiled when they saw the team on there. "Movies." Pidge said. A picture of film showed on the screen. "Replaceable." Allura said. I freaked out on the inside when the screen showed me. They both gave me a look of concern.
  "Okay, um, first love." Allura said changing the subject. 'Oh shit.' I thought. I looked at the screen, Keith Kogane was placed on it. Pidge's glasses were tinted and Allura was giggling. "Oh so Keith is you first love." Pidge said grinning.
  "What, psh, n-no, this thing uh it just has a bug in it, that's all." I said. Of course they didn't fall for it. Then allura spoke up, getting right to the point, "First Kiss." My eyes widened.
  There on the screen, was Keith and I from the night before. 'IT WAS A FUCKING TRAP.' I thought. "I KNEW IT!" Pidge yelled out. I quickly covered her mouth, "Pidge be quiet, or else someone else might here you."
  "So is there something going on between you two." Allura asked me. I blushed, "Um, I uhhh." The thing betrayed me as it played the memory of that night. "So what does this make us now?" "I guess boyfriend and girlfriend, is that what you want to be?" "Yeah that would be nice."
  I took off the thing as Allura and Pidge highfived. "The mice weren't lying then!" Allura said. "The mice told you, I told them not to rat me out!" I exclaimed. "So when am I gonna be a aunt." Pidge said.
  I turned to her with a blush, "PIDGE, why would you say that!?" Allura hugged me and Pidge joined in, "Okay, okay, let's calm down." I sighed and hugged them, "Just be glad that I like you guys, or else I would've killed you already."
  They grimaced as they pulled away. "I'm happy for you two, you know getting together." Pidge said. I smiled, "Thanks, but you guys have to promise, you won't tell anybody else, especially not Lance."
  "I can't make promises that I can't keep." Pidge said. "Pidge, don't push it." I said. "Okay, okay I promise." She said. "So since we're all here, do you want to have a, girls night, as pidge said it was." Allura asked.
  I smiled, "Sure, I mean we have gone through a lot these past couple days, I think we deserve a break." Allura smiled, "Great Pidge you in?" Pidge nodded, "I should probably take a break."
  "Then it's settled, go to your room and change into some comfy clothes, then come to my room afterwards." Allura said.

  I walked down the hallway to Allura's room. I brought my camera and some extra film just incase. I got to Allura's door and knocked on it. She opened it and let me in. I looked around her room in awe, it certainly was fit for a princess.
  I sat next to pidge who was currently lying on Allura's bed. "So what do you do at Girls night?" Allura asked. Pidge shrugged, "I was never interested in them." I thought about it, "Well when my sisters and I had them, we would sometimes talk about boys, or make fun of our other siblings."
  Allura sat on the bed, "What do you mean 'Make fun of'?" Pidge got into a sitting position. "You know, like teasing each other, except your teasing them without them knowing," Pidge explained, "Basically talking behind their back, except in a nicely put way."
  "Oh I see, so we could talk about the other paladins!" Allura said. "Yeah, that's about right." I said. Pidge grinned as she fixed her glasses, "So how's Keith (Y/n)?" I groaned and put my camera down next to me. "Of course you would ask that," I said, "Well once you get to know him, he's all sweet and kind, you know."
  Allura giggled, "You really are in love with him." I smiled and rolled my eyes, "Yeah I am." Pidge spoke up, "So when we said the word replaceable, why'd you think of yourself?" I messed with a seam in my shirt.
  "I guess, I kinda feel that someone else could've been the teal paladin you know, I'm just an extra," I said, "I have no part in Voltron, I just shoot a few bad guys then Voltron takes care of the rest."
  Pidge puts a hand on my shoulder, "But you do help us out, you help us get things down quicker." I looked at her, "Yeah but anyone else could do that as well." Pidge looked down and Allura sighed.
  "There's one thing I didn't tell you about being the Teal paladin," Allura said, pidge and I looked at her, "The teal paladin is unique, they put other first instead of themselves, and it usually gets them hurt, but other than that, they are one of the most important parts of Voltron."
  Allura looked at me with a soft smile, "Even if they aren't apart of Voltron, they are the soul of it, they encourage the team to bond together." Pidge smiled and I smiled. "See, you're important to the team, we're all family, a crazy but loving family." Pidge said.
  I hugged both of them, "Thank you, I really need that." They both hugged back and we let go. "Well let's change the subject, we don't want to be a bunch of sad sacks." Allura said. Pidge and I laughed as Allura cheered us up.

  I laughed as Pidge explained how Shiro is like a dad to all of us. Allura picked up my camera. "What's this for (Y/n)?" Allura asked me. I looked at her, "Oh I brought it, in case you guys wanted to take some pictures."
  Pidge smiled, "I think that would be great." I grabbed it from Allura and stretched my arms out, again like Keith said, they're too small. We heard squeaking and saw the mice on a table in front of us, gesturing to put the camera down.
  "They said that they can take the picture." Allura said. I put the camera down on the table and went back to my spot. We all got in position and smiled. The mice took the picture, then we took another one with funny faces. Then the mice took a picture of all of us laughing.
  I thanked the mice and let the pictures develop. I gave 2 of them to the others, pidge kept the one of us with funny faces and Allura kept the one with us smiling. I yawned and stretched, "I think it's time to sleep." I said.
  Pidge and Allura agreed with me. "Yeah, I have to look through Sendak's memories in the morning." Pidge said. Allura and pidge got up from the bed, Allura pulled the comforter out and layed in her bed, "I have enough room in my bed for both of you."
  Pidge and I got in the bed. "Goodnight guys." I said. "Goodnight (Y/n)." They responded. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

(A/n): oof I was having an argument with myself at 3 am wondering if I should add this to the story, so I hope you guys liked it, I'm already starting to work on Collection and Extraction 😉
